At the sight of him


her heart starts to race
Her eyes look upon him, lost in his face
She sees only him, nothing else around
Only his gaze of green and brown.
Unknowing she finds that she walks forward
To meet him, feeling her heart restored

He looks around and sees her there
Seeing her turn, flipping her hair
He smiles and sees her turn to his way
So he moves to greet her, feeling the crowd slip away
He sees only her and her lit up eyes
That he knows will never tell him lies.

They stand inches in front of the other
And see that the truth lies in each other
It doesn’t matter if others don’t see
What they feel, what they know will be
They reach and embrace, rejoiced at the touch
Feeling love for the other, feeling so much

She lies in his arms, his arms pull her close
Feeling a tingle all the way to their toes.
He looks down at her as she rests on his shoulder
They move to sit, and he pulls her in closer
The shadows disappear, the light shines through
A soft yet comforting glow

for the two They know that it will last through all times
With good times and bad, but they’ll always be fine
With each other near and their heart as one
That’s all they need, true happiness has come.

It's a good poem, but the flow in some parts of it are a little weird... I still like it a lot! by the way, did you check to see if crazdfeline wanted you to post this poem?
