Who do you prefer? Old Metallica or New Metallica?
I'm gonna have to go with Old Metallica their music was so much better than it is now... like "Unforgiven" "One" and "Fade to Black". Those were just great songs.

I seriously think im the only person who likes new Mettalica better, besides there new album, the music has just been better made, sounds better and has better quality.

Metallica's new stuff is horrible. Saint Anger is the worst song I've heard from them and it's a shame that such a great band is dying.

both are good i'd say, i actually like St. Anger. . . it took some getting used to, but now i don't change the station when i hear it. <_<

Well the fact that Hammett won't touch a solo with a 10 foot pole makes me want to vote for Old Metallica. Not a HUGE Metallica fan on the whole, but I still think MoP, RTL and AJFA are 100x better than the new stuff. I always was a bigger Slayer and Overkill fan when it came to thrash. ;)

Um, sorry to tell you all but Metallica's new cd is like there old albums. Have any of you heard there old albums? The black album is old but its not one of there old albums. Just listen to kill em all or master of puppets they sounds alot like St.Anger. Dont get me wrong I love the black album but after that it started to go down hill untill St.Anger I loved load and reload but they are nothing compared to St.Anger. When Metallica released St.Anger they went back to there old stile and thats why most of the new fans(fans post the black album) dont like it and there older fans love it. I personaly Love all of Metallicas albums.

I heard them play Frantic on the MTV awards yesterday and I'm thinking about giving the album a chance. I just didn't like Saint Anger at all. Something about it was just...missing.

Did anyone else notice that St. Anger, the song not the album, sounds a hell of a lot like Hangar 18 or Return To The Hangar from Megadeth? :blink:

Welp, Old Metallic is purty good...new Metallica is...just..I don't know...I don't care to listen to the New Metallica.....the old one I will listen to if my little brother has the cd in and won't change it lol.
