Title: Dark Cloud
Description: Old game, yes...

CloverLeaf - September 10, 2003 03:45 AM (GMT)
my friend and i made a game trade and i now temperarely own dark cloud. yes, the original "ps2 greatest hits". just wondering, do you stay in the dungeons forever looking for the parts of the town, or do you get to go to other places? i'm getting a tad bit bord with all the running around, back and forth through them.

You have to go all the way through the dungeon, I think the first one is 14 levels deep and then fight the boss. When you do you can then progress in the story.

But basically it is just fighting in dungeons, fishing, and looking for Atla. That and Toan is just a cop-off of Link! Look at them! They both wear lots of green and have goofy hats! ARGH! The battle system is too slow too!

jeebees! 14 levels! cripes, i'm on 9. the boss battles are weird. the ones where you have to hit the button at the same time as the sequence. i can't see the action and the sequence at the same time! <_<

link is way kewler then toan! pfff. toan just has such weird expressions for some reason. toan is a stick. and he runs funny.

lmao...I thought it was addicting for a while...but i never thought it was worth owning, I got through most of the game renting it once..and I'm to lazy to rent it again (not to mention my PS2 is broken!)

Best solution: go to video store about repairing your Playstation 2.

I did send my PSX (broken) to video store for repairing my PSX.

good luck!!! :)

Was it a chain store...or like a famly owned time place...cause There's no one around her who fixes PS2's as far as i know >.< and I've heard equal amount of good and bad about Sony as far as repair comes to >.<

Try to ask video game store first, then one of workers may give you to find repair center.

Like me, I went to store near my home (non-chain store). It accepted to repair only Playstation 1-2, Gamecube, Xbox, and Dreamcast. It can't repair other old consoles. He recommended me to call Sega Customer Service because it can't repair my Sega CD. Also NES. I got address from Nintendo Customer Service about repairing NES.

well, yea, i guess it kinda drags you in. like you wanna finish the dungeons just so you can get to the good part. bah, 14 levels tho? i don't need that much experience in the dungeons.

i think my bro contacted nintendo customer service before. don't you send them the console then they fix it and send it back? the shipping was about half the cost of the console if i remember. @.@U stupid lifetime warranties. you still have to send it in to the company and pay for the shipping. gah. postal offices...

My main problem is...it's a PS2!...Sony is un-reliable...sometime they fix things fast, some times they laugh at you >.>...there so evil, nintendo is good about fixing stuff though, I'm not sure about there costs though

I took my PS2, when it broke to a BestBuy and they just replaced it.

Sabin R. Figaro - September 17, 2003 02:05 AM (GMT)

CloverLeaf - September 18, 2003 03:18 AM (GMT)
