Title: Anime to the U.S.
Description: Japanese anime to the U.S.?

Do you believe that all anime from japan should be released to the U.S.? why or why not? (correct me if i'm wrong but, not all anime from Japan has(or will) been(be) subbed/dubbed in the U.S.)

i'm semi supporting that all anime should be subbed/dubbed and released to dvd/vhs in the u.s. but some of the pairings in animes might not appeal to the public. i don't know tho. what do you think?

Not all anime will be released here. Fanbase, popularity, and culture all play a role. You wont see little shows comming over here because they won't sell that well or the people that do like them wont give the company back enough money that they spent on brining/dubbing/advertisement/ect. As for whether I support or do not support, I don't care.

Do I believe they should yes, will they, no. Its the same way with video games, Japan will see stuff we will never know the light of day about.

I don't think they should. I think more should come over, but not all of it.

i never saw the point in those tyepse of animes, slam dunk prince of tennis*cant remeber all the other sports animes* i dont see what the appele for them is i man they are usualy cool and all but for the most part boast alot of yoai esque relationships alt in prince of tenis all the players are bishie ;looking so one can oly asume, as for if it all should come over? you bet your as it should all subbing, and only dubbing of very good quality, there are alot of good anime's ouyt there that need to be brought to america, they at least need to let manga be translated and sent here

I agree with you on that one man. What's the point in sports anime/manga. Just turn on the tv and BAM, there's the real thing.

no, not all anime will be released here. there are not enough television stations airing anime on a large enough time scale so they would be relying too heavily on DVD or VHS sales directly from stores. I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to be hesitant on buying anime I've never seen before until I get some feed back on it... so straight to the rack sales would not likely get high enough income to ever get all animes imported.
