Val looks down at the broken bottle, he holds his hand out over the bottle. the broken glass and spilt bourbon jump from the floor and reform in his hand. Val takes another drink,

Inside her boots she has a pair of sia's hiden on the outer side and hiden against her inside thigh she carries tanto's. She also has a katar attached to her back. :ph43r:

Background: Ai is a mage truned theif after the head council had her banished from the castle. Her specialty is calling upon the power of water. She uses her powers for mostly good but doesn't think twice about using them for evil. She also has a small background in calling upon other factors of magik. She has had to turn to thiefing to survive and is being hunted by the gaurds. With the money she steals she spends most of her time in the taverns drinking mead and watching the drunken fools stumble outside and pass out where they fall victim to her stealing.

She hates the gods and the fact that they're all righteous and telling other people what to do.

Description: Her chin-length hair is kinda curly and it likes to fall over her green eye. One eye is green, the other is brown. She does a gypsy rag on her time off as a theif; one of the best in the business. If anyone wanted to get in touch with her, they'd have to go down the Main Street and into a warehouse on the far corner. From there, you're on your own looking for a girl wearing a black leather top that hooks behind her neck and goes no further down than just above her belly-button. Her long black skirt has a slit up to her thigh and short black shorts underneath so she can do her job. Her favorite weapon is her cunning and her interesting magical talents of illusion, silence, and shapeshifting. She can also manipulate elements to a tiny extent (She's not a mage), and some talent in archery.

Background: Hayai was born to a well-to-do family. When her talents came out, they baame worried about it. She was the only one in several generations with them. She became upset about the whole thing and ran off. She stole a few things, and her talents aided her, so she turned it into a full-time gig. She's gotten into a few fights with the previous rulers of the underworld and managed to come out very close to the top. Now she has the respect and fear she always missed in her parents home. Her favorite past-times inlude stealing from the rich to give to herself and the really needy saps, shooting off her mouth as well as her arrows, and being generally annoying.

dang. Now where did I put those keys? Nadia stands in the rain and looks up at the gods. "Rub it in why don't you?!!?"
Nadia rolls her eyes and lights up a fire nearby. Who said fire can never defeat water? Nadia tries kicking the door open but it wouldn't work.[I]Jeez, I guess I'm stuck here for the night!![I].

The rain poured harder...

Ai watched the girl kick at the door and curse the gods. She smirked to herself when she saw the keys laying on the ground. She debted to herself wether or not to help her. She knew, from the teachings of her magistra, to always help those in need. She did however run a risk of being recgonized and turned in. Her good nature final got the better of her as she bent down and picked up the keys.

She walked over to the girl holding the keys out infront of her, "Here I think you dropped these."

Nadia blinked at the long-haired girl. She thought twice whether to speak to her or not. She saw something glisten on her breast.

Something tells me I should e careful... Nadia reluctantly clutched the keys and stared at her breast...

Nadia noticed the peculiar look on the girl's face. She held up her two hands and grinned sheepishly. "ahehe... I hope you're not thinking what I think you're thinking, it's just that I think there's something in your shirt"

Nadia laughs and the girl smiles at her. But amidst their friendly smiles, their eyes look deadly...

Ai smiled at the girl but her eyes remained cold. The rain began to fall harder. Ai closed her eyes and raised her head up to the sky letting the rain beat down on her face.

"You'd better get inside," Ai said after the thunder clapped. "It looks like it's just going to get worse out here."

Ai heard something around the corner of the house where, she had emerged ealier. She looked at the girl with an evil smirk before she put her hand over her breast. She pulled out her breast dagger that was a good eight inches long.

"I wouldn't worry about this old thing," Ai said as the lighting reflected of her dagger. "I only use it on evil people. You really should get inside, things might turn ugly." Ai said as she turned to leave.

Nadia couldn't help it. She just have to know..

"Wait----! You... you seem familiar somehow. You're not a god are you?" Nadia fakes a laugh. There is something about this girl that she just have to find out. This is ridiculous... Nadia admitted to herself.

The girl just stared at her. She seems to be bothered with something Nadia looked at the direction she's looking... She saw nothing. The rain continued to pour harder.

"Do you want to come in then?" Nadia pressed. It's not that she's so interested in the girl... it's just that she seems frighteningly familiar. Nadia recalled the days when she was still in the castle. Oh how she hates that place! She remembers the gods of the head council dictating every mage in the castle. Those were the very reasons why she ran away in the first place.

But of all the things she remembers, the one thing that struck her the most is the mage who supposedly controls the power of water. Could she possibly be...?Nah... Nadia dismisses the thought

Ai suddenly sighed with aggravation from being wet. No sooner had she sighed did it stop raining. She was about to do something that her instincts usually told her not to do. For some reason though her instincts told her to trust this girl.

Ai slipped her breast dagger back into it's home and held out her hand to the girl. "Hello, I'm Ai and I would love to come in a dry off."

Being in the girls house was the best move at the moment. Whom ever was around the corner was sure to try to break in. Granted, Ai didn't know anything about this new girl, Ai knew whom ever lived outside the castle would need as many allies as possible.

Ai waited for the girl to introduce herself when she realized she still had the look of death in her eyes. She tried her hardest to soften her look and waited for the womens response.

Nadia's eyes followed the dagger. She eased herself up. She tried to shrug off the creepy feeling that this woman may be the Ai that got banished by the gods of the head council years ago. Even though a little voice inside her yelled, She stopped the freakin' rain!! Are you blind??

Nadia never believed rumors. Who cares if they said that Ai, the water elemental mage, once practiced the dark arts? And anyway, Nadia was alone and could care any less. The fact that this woman gave her name means that she trusts her (even for a tiny bit). She decided to set her thoughts aside and smile (as she always do).

"I'm Nadia... From the Steelflare family. Come inside, the place isn't much but you can dry off" Nadia and Ai stepped inside the house. Nadia went to the fireplace immediately and realized..

"Dang.. no more wood..." She muttered. She looked over her shoulder and saw that Ai was pretty much occupied by her Hyacinth Orb. Nadia had that orb since she was still a child and could not remember its use. Her mother gave it to her and well, she didn't actually explained how it worked.

Mages outside the castle are not favored much by the people. She wonders if Ai would show any hostility with her being a fire elemental mage. After all, she might think that Nadia is against her as well. Her eyes were too cold to read.

Nadia looked once again over her shoulder. Good, she's still occupied Nadia softly blew on the fireplace and at once, sparks of flame were brought to life. Nadia grinned. She never used her powers for affairs that concerned the greater people. Always for myself and my survival.. Nadia sighed sharply and bit her lip. She realized that she hasn't been actually a good mage. After all, the code of the mages is for the protection of the people and for the greater good. Once you step off the borderline, you are considered a Black Mage and is an established enemy of the gods.

Nadia stood up and patted her knees. She turned around and found Ai looking at her. The door suddenly creaked.

Ai looked over her shoulder just in time to she Nadia blow into the fire place and bring the flames to life. She quickly turned her head back to the orb. Looking at it brought back many good memories of her Master, Head Mage Ilzinias. She began to think about he always took her out into the garden to play. She hated the fact that he was murdered more than the fact she was accused of using black magik to kill him. She suddenly realized that she has turned to black magik before and is frightened that using black magik doesn't scare her as it should.

Ai placed the Orb back in it's home a turned and watched Nadia. Nadia turned and looked at her and no sooner than she had did her door start to open.

Ai quickly drew her sia's and moved behind the door. Ai nodded for Nadia to prepare herself. A man slowly entered the house just after Nadia dove behind her dining room table. The man walked in past Ai. To Ai he looked very drunk, drunk people were always easy to take care of. Ai went to hit the man in the back of his head when he quickly turned and placed a dagger at her throat.

"I've been following you for quit some time Ai. You're going to make me a rich man." The man smiled at that thought. "You stopping the rain outside proved to me that you were the Ai that I've been looking for. Perhaps you and I should have alittle fun first." the man moved in a started kissing Ai on the lips. She truned to push him away but was unsuccessful.

Nadia's eyes grew large with shock. So she is...!! She is the Ai that Lord Kalil had been talking about!!. Nadia felt the table above her shake. She felt her heartbeat pounding against her chest. Nadia looked at her trembling gloved hands.

She heard muffled screams from above her. Nadia shut her eyes tight. No Nadia, stop being such a wuss!!! Ai is... Ai is... Nadia got out of hiding and was bewildered upon the sight.

Ai's clothes were almost completely torn to pieces. She was struggling to get off the grasps of that... that... yucky drunk man Nadia shuddered. Ai's cold eyes stared sharply at her.

"Well, what have we here... another girlie to join the fun" the man smiled an evil glee. Nadia was suddenly immobilized with fear. Ai, on the other hand, seemed perfectly calm.

"Ai..." Nadia's shaky voice managed to cry out. She participated in many Mage Duels downtown but nothing prepared her for this. The man continued doing his deed on Ai. "You want to watch little girlie? Go ahead, knock yourself out" the man sneered.

Nadia fists clenched. "You get your filthy paws of her you mangy old mutt!" Nadia's scarlet eyes flared and her silver hair turned bloddy red in color. Ai's icy stare turned to disbelief.

Nadia's aura rose to unbelievable heights. Ai found the perfect timing. She carefully slid her dagger onto her palm and pushed the man forcibly. She used the man as a shield to Nadia's reckless attack.

After the past events of Nadia losing control and burning the drunk man alive and burning Ai's shoulder, Ai stood in shock and disbeleif. She looked around the house to see everything had charred edges and a few smuldering pieces of wood made the place smell like burning wood on an autumn afternoon.

"Wow! Not to toot my on horn but I have pretty amazing powers myself but I've never seen anything like that before." Ai said before turning to Nadia to find her collapsed on the floor.

Ai bent down beside Nadia. Nadia had obviously never pushed herself that far. Ai looked over Nadia as her hair slowly turn from red to sliver. She looked into Nadia's face to see that she was still awake.

"Hey there, are you ok?" Ai asked brushing a few strands of Nadia's hair off her face. She started chuckling to herself. "That was amazing. You know I could help train you to control your powers if you like?"

Ai looked into Nadia's eyes again and for the first time in years her eyes were brushed with their original innocence, softness and kindness. She used to be filled with love and tenderness now filled with hate, Nadia had already started to bring Ai's old self out of her.

"That was amazing. You know I could help train you to control your powers if you like?"

Nadia squinted. "Is he... Is he gone?" She murmured. Soft hands brushed her cheek. Nadia's whole body went numb. After releasing that mich energy, all her body heat seemed to escape her body.

Nadia forced her eyes to open. It was onyl now that she realized what Ai had said. Her eyes brimmed with tears. the truth is.. nobody ever got close to me since I ran away... Everyone was afraid of me, like I'm a plague or something... I needed people.

Nadia cried on Ai's arms. She realized that she was still a girl after all. She needed friendship, companions and well... a sister. "Let's get out of here, Ai. Away from this place." Nadia wailed.

At that time, Nadia had no idea what she was saying, where they have to go or what they will do. The words just came out of her mouth just like that.

"Well... by coming with me, you're risking you're life" Ai said.

"By running away from the castle, I already risked my life" Nadia wiped her tears and tried to sit up. She thought hard. But something sparkling caught her eye.

"...The orb...!!" Nadia said tenderly as she used every inch of her strength to pick it up. The orb gleamed its brightest as words seem to be forming inside it.

Fire and Water should never mix, Earth and Heaven shall be fixed. The Temple of Panvar is due North. Be careful for the path is full of remorse

Ai and Nadia locked baffled stares. "So... will we go?" Nadia asked.

Ai looked at Nadia and thought about the words from the orb.

"Yes let's." Ai said as she replaced the sleeve of her tang top when she hits the large burn on her shoulder. Ai let out a moan of pain. "That hurt." Ai sucked up the pain and held her hand over her shoulder and water started pouring from her hand. She knew she should bandage it but they didn't have time for that now.

"Do you need to gather anything up before we leave?" Ai smiled at Nadia and her eyes were brushed with the same softness as before.

Nadia's eyebrows burrowed in thought. She looked around her and noticed that almost everything was burned to a crisp. "I guess there's nothing..." Nadia sighed. Ai helped her stand up.

Nadia and Ai began walking away the barren house when suddenly something scratced Ai's back. "Aaaaahh!!!! what in Pandora's name is that?!" Ai pointed at the wriggling creature in front of her. Nadia turned around.

"Tuffy?!!! You're alive!!!" Nadia suddenly regains strength and swoops the little bunny-like creature in her arms.

"This is Tuffy! Gandor gave her to me when I was still in the castle. You know, Gandor, the Beast Breeder. He said that Tuffy is one of the most tame creatures in Estrella" Nadia grinned.

"Gandor? If that came from Gandor, then that must have powers.." Ai murmured but Nadia was too occupied to hear her.

"Let's go!" Nadia exclaimed cheerfully, tugging the fluffy bunny with them.

Ai sighed and rolled her eyes. She was never one for cute pets. Ai tried her best to look at her fresh wound and was unsuccessful. With blood lightly flowing down her back and her shoulder throbbing from the burn, Ai placed her hand above her wound and let water pour over both wounds. Ai closed her eyes as the cold water ran down her side.

"Yeah let's go."

Ai began to think about they journey, she had no idea what they would run into but she knew that they had best be prepared. . .

Nadia sideglanced at the wound on Ai's arm. She saw the water trickle down on it. That must be severely painful. She shuddered.

"Do you mind if we stop by the next town for a few days? I've got something to do there. I heard they have yummy dumplings!!" Nadia tried to cheer her up but Ai did not move a muscle.

They walked in silence for a while. When suddenly Tuffy started going around in circles.

"What's the matter Tuffy baby?" Nadia cooed.

Ai shuddered. She never did fancy them baby names. It makes her cringe.

Ai looked over her shoulder and saw a man laying against a tree. He was wearing a black cloak and his hood was hanging on his shoulders. Ai grabbed Nadia shoulder and pulled her down behind the bushes.

"Nadia you stay here and keep 'Tuffy' quiet please." Ai hated even saying cute fluffy names.

Ai slowly and quietly walked over to the man. She wasn't sure if he was drunk and passed out or just sleeping. She honestly didn't care but if he had any money she knew that she and Nadia needed it.

Ai slowly lifted the mans cloak and prayed he didn't wake up. She carefully slipped her hand into his inside pocket. After fishing around for a few minutes, Ai's fingers finally touched the tip of his money pouch. Just as she was about to remove the pouch the man began to stur. . .

Nadia held her breath. The man seemed harmless but there was something suspicious about him. Nadia touched Ai's shoulder and shook her head slowly.

"I think we should leave him" Nadia hissed. Ai rolled her eyes.

"We don't have any money and we need all the gold pieces we can get!" Ai shot back. Nadia bit her lip.

The man finally awakened and found Ai's hand inside his coat. The man smiled. "Look lady, if you want to get laid, you should just say so..."

Nadia suppressed her laughter. Ai's face was as red as a tomato, she actually looked as if she was about to burst any minute. "How dare you--!! I wouldn't touch a finger even if I am desperate!"

The man just smiled again."Then why is your hand inside my coat?" Ai rolled her eyes once more with the immaturity of this guy. Nadia cleared her throat.

"Uhhm... I think we are trying to steal some money from you Mister" She said politely. The guy held Ai's hand and smiled his oh-so gorgeous smile. Nadia raised an eyebrow. Err... Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Ai is actually blushing! Her ice-cold stare just turned all fluttery! Nadia suppressed another giggle.

"Ahem... So Mister, are you going to give my beautiful friend here, Ai, your money or what?" Nadia teased. Ai was shot back to reality. She took her hand away forcibly looking as red as ever.

The guy stood up, patted his dirty coat and looked at the two of them.

"Yes, well... Before I do that, I think as a gorgeous gentleman, I should introduce myself. Ladies, I am----"

Appearance: Long, dark brown hair, forest green eyes. Wears a spiked dog collar, wrist bands, a long black cloak, and whatever else she can find.

Cammy woke early. Light was filtering into her hotel room. A jingle in the hallway caused her to start, then quickly jump out of bed and collect her belongings. She didnt pay for the hotel room...she had just snuck in through the window. The cleaners were coming to check the room, or someone else was going to occupy it. So, Cammy decided it was time to move along.
Sliding the window open, she jumped from the balcony. Her room was only on the second floor, so the jump wouldnt have caused her any harm. Grabbing her bag, she went along her way to find the nearest pub.

Description: A warrior turned thief. As a high defender of the castle he was accused of treason and banished from the castle. Shortly after being banished he found a price on his head. Spending his days stealing from drunks and lost mages, he curses the gods and the kingdom for the trouble they caused him.

Appearance: Long black hair, deep green eyes and a deep scar above his left eye from a fight with a bandit from a few years ago, ever since then no man has ever gotten a blade close to the mans skin. He wears a long black cloak that hides his completely black clothing. To his side he carries a katar that is attached to a sliver chain for easy retrieval during battle. Hidden inside his boots are sia’s that are used for any hand to hand combat that he might come across.

"Yes, well... Before I do that, I think as a gorgeous gentleman, I should introduce myself. Ladies, I am Koveras, pleased to meet you" He grabed Ai´s hand, the one that was in his pocket and kissed it with a reverence.

"So, you wanted my money, may i ask why?"

Lexa sits in the middle of the forest right by the shrine and frowns, she feels the bad karma... "please no, I don't want to be summonded... not again"

Cammy sat in the pub, wondering what good offers were on the table for the day. After a few hours, she heard nothing of interest, so she got up and left. There are probably some local thieves in the alleys near the harbor...thugs always lurk around down there She thought. Before leaving, she made sure her sword and daggers were in place, in case she needed to draw them out quickly.
As she walked down the dark alleys near the harbor, she realized just how bad the conditions of the buildings were. That was when the blow was struck. Cammy had her head turned, looking at a facade, when out of nowhere someone struck her in the back of the head. Cammy fell to the groud, giving a scream of shock. Cammy was angery with herself for allowing someone to sneak up on her. She jumped up, only to be kicked down again.
"Stay down pretty...you'll do better that way..." a raspy voice said, bearly above a whisper. Cammy could hear muffled laughs, signifying she wasnt alone. Damn....how careless of me...I dont think I will be able to get out of this one... She thought gloomily as a man's form came over her.

Ai cleared her throat. She tried to calm the blush that was still rising in her cheeks. "Well mister Koveras," She cleared her throat again. She was beyond emabarssed. She kept tripping over words she hadn't even spoken yet. "Mister Koveras, we need your money to continue our travels. So, are you going to hand it over or not?" Ai asked her hand outstretched.

When she looked down at her hand she realized it was palm down as if waiting to accpet another kiss. She cleared her throat and cursed herself for being so. . . so feminine. She quickly turned her hand over and waited for the man's decision.

'What is wrong with me?' Ai thought to herself. 'Why is this man getting to me?'

Ai screamed inside her head for her to get a hold of herself and for her to get her guard back up and quickly. The last thing she needed was to get hurt, again.

This is becoming a great day, first that really easy fight with a lot of good loot for me and now this 2 pretty girls, ahhh money and women, what else would i want?.

Hayai was bored. Business had been slow as of late and none of the underground's guild members had had any interesting jobs for her. She knew she would probably end up regrettign this later, but it was time to escape the staleness of her home.
She had left her warehouse without telling anybody. It was a few hours later by now and she was feeling a wee bit peckish. Not many people knew her down here by the harbor. She was just about to duck into a grimy pubby little place when she heard what sounded like a yell for help. Pausing a second to consider her options, she sighed and dropped her hand from the knob of the door. Well, it was excitement she was hunting, no?
She trotted out to where the yell had come from and spied a girl on teh ground surrounded by some rather ugly oafish men. She coughed politely to announce her presence before deciding to be totally obnoxious.
"Ahem. Hello, boys. You too, Missy. Erm, I'm somewhat curious, but did one of you ladies give a shout for assisstance?" she asked mockingly, choosing to tick the arrogant bunch off. She was sure of her abilities to win this fight, so didn't even worry about the anger building in them.

(heh...Sorry I haven't been here in forever. Got a wee bit sidetracked w/ my other RPGs...-^^- Gomen nasai!)

The man on top of Cammy didnt move, but continued to bear down on top of her. "Ohh! Another frisky one! Get 'er boys!" Some of the thieves jumped down from the barrles and snickered at the new girl. "Yeah..I called fer help! I wanna play wit a purty un too!" This one looked to be second in command, and had about three cronies close behind him.
Cammy took stock of the situation. Here she was, pinned to the ground by a burly thief, with about three or four others glazing over her hungerily. Also, about five feet into the alley, was another girl with a sassy look, with four of the other thieves advancing on her. Just my luck.... Cammy thought. She looked at the barrles toward the thieves and the new arrival. She smirked up at her captor. "Better watch out girl!" Cammy muttered sharp words, and blew up the barrles near the girl and the men. She hoped the girl was ok, and would return the favor.

Ai's face grew even redder. "You. . . you arrogant little man. I will not beg for your money, I'd rather just take it."

Ai moved for the man's pocket inside his cloak. He grabbed her wrist and when she started to pull back she tripped over you own two feet and fell onto her back re-opening the wound on her shoulder. Ai got up and started running towards the man.

'Who does this man think he is. I will not beg!'

Just as she prepared to strike Koveras, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder followed by a warm liquid running down her back. She knew she re-opened the wound and was bleeding badly. As the light headness took control, she began to fell herself fall backwards. . .

Koveras saw the girl falling and said: "well thats my effect in women" laughing for himself. But soon he noticed the pain in her face. He went by her side saying "if u were hurt u just have told me, damm now it may be more painfull than before for the effort u just did".
"Hey girl u know of an inn round here? I might heal her if i can find a place for her to rest" talking to nadia.

Nadia rushed to Ai's side.

"Actually, there's one in the next town... but we have to be careful. Thieves are smoldering the area"

Nadia's face reddened, realizing that she was just that... a thief. But tere was no time for courtesy issues. Ai was in trouble.

"Mister, you can carry her on our way to the next town. I'm sure she wouldn't mind..." Nadia said looking carefully at Ai

As they were walking, Nadia noticed the blood on Ai's shoulder turning icy blue...

Hmm... probably because of te water in her veins

"Ne, mister... where are you from anyway? You're not one of them god-sent are you?" Nadia asked, looking at Koveras' scarred eye.

Hayai found herself flying and landing rather hardly on her bum. She blinked. Okay. Strike the whole damsel-in-distress deal. This just plain sucked. That was the last time she was going to play nice. She got up and dusted herself off before the smoke cleared and went back to the pub before she could be seen. She slipped in, found a nice dark corner, and got herself a nice strong drink.
Never again, I swear. Kids these days.....puh
She settled in and closed her eyes for a bit of a snooze.

Lexa sat in meditation, she knew what was going to happen was best known to those with skill and strong magic. Dreams and vision were sent to those five... (OOC: you other people in the RP) of the destruction and death soon to come. Maybe they could help. The vision was of her goddess form, in a long white gown, hair rising and her hands in pray, faces screaming and blood.

That question surprised him a lot, he didnt believed much in gods, the real power for him was training, elementals and a good piece of metal in his hands.

"...iam no god messenger, because i hate em. in the only thing i believed now is gone... i think its for better, i hate em much more than the gods, just for the fact that they belive theyre gods instruments...i have nothing more to say about that"
He said that with pain and anger in his face, as remembering something of his past.
"Anyway, i have too many questions for you now but ill get satisfied with 2 for now, the first your names and the second why you asked me that?"

Ai could hear everything that Koveras and Nadia were saying but slowly the words began to blur in her mind. Her vision was becoming crossed. She had wrapped her arms around Koveres's neck earlier and now they began to spill as unconsciousness began to wrap it cold hands around her. She felt something small jump into her lap. She looked and could barely make out Fluffy curled up on her stomach and already half asleep. She moved her hand and gave him a rough pet as her body lost all feeling. She lay completely unconscious in Koveras's arms.

Nadia reached for Fluffy.

"One san is hurt... you shouldn't jump lon her like that" Nadia reprimanded as she stroked Fluffy's.... well, fluffy fur.

"My name is Nadia..." Nadia paused not knowing whether she should continue or not. After all, Koveras is still a stranger.

"It's nothing.... it's just that all of them righteous god-sent freakos seem to be multiplying everyday" Nadia joked.

She thinks, What if he gets any idea that we're against the gods? I might endanger not only myself but sister Ai too!

Nadia waved her hand dismissively and tried (desperately) to change the subject.

"Oh look! There's the town now! Let's take her to an inn Mister Koveras" Nadia skipped to the nearest inn her eyes caught sight of.
