Well I hear everyone talk about how RK is the best series of all-time... but I haven't seen it all so I don't know what the big deal is. I'm about 15 episodes into the series (or something like that), and I'm really enjoying it so far. I just got past the mini-saga thingie with Aoshi's henchmen being killed and such. But I hear I haven't even scratched the surface and it gets MUCH better.
So what I wonder is... where is the room for improvement? It's pretty damned great right now and I can't see it getting SO much better like everyone says. But yeah... good stuff so far. I just hope the end isn't disappointing like people say.

It's an over rated series. Far to long in my opinion and really nothing special. The OVA's are alittle bit better than the 100+ episode TV series.

Well, that's a matter of opinion. I LOVE the series AND the OAV's, both of which I own. I like it because I like period dramas. Ya'll might not. But, Pma, if you like it so far, it does onnly get better. To me, at least. They go a bit deeper into Kenshin's past and about the things that truly tore the poor guy up in the start, why he became Kenshin instead of dieing as the Battoussai. It also talks a lot about the history of Japan. Did you know that Katsura was a real guy? Yep yep! You see that in the first OAV. Anyhoo, tha's my opnion on the subject........-^^- RK 4 M3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah.. a lot of people say that the end is very disappointing. Uhm... I think so too. The series dragged on for me. I had trouble keeping my eyes open. The series was good up until the end of the shishio arc. Everything that came after that were "bleh" episodes for me. I finished it for the sake of finishing it.
It's not really overrated for me. FY.. now that's overrated. RK has a good plot... but bad development. If you want a true RK treat, go for the manga and OVA's... ^_^

I aslo love the Rurouni Kenshin anime series but the manga annoyed me so much, because its all so different.
