SCROLLS OF MOBIUS
In one moment, the peaceful world of Mobius became a world of many tribulations. Monsters appeared  out of no where, great plagues struck without warning. To bring peace back to Mobius, the 150 scrolls of the Book of Okotuma must be recovered. Six parties of three are charged with finding these scrolls. At the other end of the balance spectrum are the Shipoku, a group of humans and mutates that want the scrolls for their own selfish purposes...Who will get to them first?
YOU MUST READ THIS FIRST!!! IF YOU DON’T I’LL EAT YOUR SOUL!!!!
Okay here it goes...
1. You can be either human or mutate (a mutate is an animal whose inherited human evolution status. For example, a fox mutate will have the body similarities of a human, but still retain his/her animal looks)
2. You can be a member of one of the Scroll Parties. These parties are limited, so join fast. If all the party positions are taken, or if you want to be something else, you can be a Shipoku (AND we’re going to NEED some Shipokus), or a civilian that helps out while a party is visiting a village or city. A civilian role is limited, so you’ll be more then one person as each village or city comes up.
3. Don’t make short senseless posts like “I stabbed him and walked away.” Those posts don’t help the RPG move along, so add depth and detail to your posts.
4. Don’t ruin this for others, I’ll kick you out of this RPG if you screw around. If you keep trying to jump back in for revenge on getting kicked out, I’ll inform the mods.
5. If you post about getting a scroll before an enemy, then that scroll is yours. No posts in which  someone for example, a Shipoku gets a scroll and a Partier kicks him in the balls and runs off with it. You get it, it’s all yours...
6. Each time three people join who want to be a Partier, they form a Party. So one person posts, then another, then maybe someone who doesnt want to be a Partier, then another Partier and bang it’s PARTY ONE...and so on and so forth...
7. Humans can use weapons and magic, mutates can use weapons and talents. (Talents are special techniques that only your specific animal man/woman can do. Like a SLASH talent from a Tiger mutate, etc...) HUMANS CAN’T HAVE TALENTS, MUTATES CAN’T HAVE MAGIC...
8. If you decide to be a mutate, be diverse. No two people should be the same animal type.
9. If you have any confusions, PM me and I’ll try my best to give an easier explanation.

BIo: Sieg’s tribe was wiped out by a strange creature called the Visage. He joined the Scroll Searchers to find the scrolls, but also, to find the Visage that destroyed his childhood. Sieg is adventurous and stubborn. He can’t stand standing around doing nothing. He’ll rush head-long into battle without thinking. He’s pretty much your typical leader, and he’ll cover your back in the stickiest situations...
OH AND NO "I'LL JOIN LATER...YOU DON'T JOIN ON THE SPOT, YOU LOSE YOUR CHANCE OF BECOMING A PARTIER!!!

sounds interesting... B) question. what is a shipoku and what is their reason they want the scrolls?

Name: Malice
Age: 17
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Weapon: Twin daggers
Magic: Few healing and combat spells
Appearance: Shoulder length black hair usually left down, but always put up in battle. Deep violet eyes.
Bio: Malice was born into a magic users family. She started learning spells at the age of 5. By the time she grew to the age of 9, she decided that magic was only a crutch to learning physical combat skills after seeing a battle between two travelers. Malice started going to martial arts schools and other training schools around her village. She also refused to use magic in a battle unless it was necessary. It was while she was at traning in the forests when the plague struck her village. When she finally returned to her village, there were less than 8 people left alive. After the incident, she traveled around the land searching for the scrolls alone until she came upon the Scroll Searchers. She joined with them after concideration.

the Shipoku are a group of people...both humans and mutate who want the scrolls for their own benfits...which means...if a Shipoku doesnt like how somethings being run...he/she could use the power of the scrolls to shape it how they want it...

(ooc: I'm in...however there is one thing I am a little confused about. you said if your character dies then only you decide if they can be revived. so does that mean someone can kill another person even without their permition? I always thought one of the "unwritten rules" of RPing is that no one can kill another person without that persons permition...)

Name: Solarflare
Age: (he lost count a few eons ago)
Race: Dragon(mutate if you must get technical)
Gender: male
Weapon: Naginata(I have a picture if you don't know what it is, but I'm not sure how to post it)
Talent: I guess fire breathe.... a few other ones that are minor.
Appearance: 12 feet tall, really skinny/lean. he has a a fourteen foot wing span, but he usually wraps his wings around him as if he were wearing a cloak or cape type thing. he has spikey orange hair on his head, and walks upright like a normal human.
Bio:He has lived for more generations than he can remember and done many things in his life. He has fought in wars, served under some of the greatest rulers, and helped to overthrow many kingdoms, he has been a merchant, a wanderer, and a mercenary, however now he rides with a small group of pirate theives. He is neither good nor evil, he simply lives the only way he knows how. word spread about the scrolls and when it fell upon his fellow pirastes ears they became fairly intruiged. they are now in persuit of as many of the scrolls as they can find, unlike most though, they do not want the scrolls for their own benefeit, nor for the benefeit of humanity. they want to destroy the scrolls, for they know the scrolls hold the power to bring everlasting peace and harmony to thw world... but at the same time their power is very intoxicating and can bring the downfall of all civilization.

I made this RPG months ago...then the board I had it on died...so I had it saved on my computer...and I never thought about that until later on...but i was too lazy to change it...



Change of Rule...you must ask permission of a person to kill that person's character...but...uh....well we'll stick with that...you die you die...you live you live...if you want to jump back in...make a good excuse to why your character came back...thats all

Name: Tsuyoi
Age: (she lost count around 5000 yrs or so, it was a while ago)
Gender: Female
Type: Mutate (I'm a fox! ((Dur!)))
Weapon: Just abut anything that comes to hand, though she really does prefer to weasel her way out of things or steal her opponants items (it's a mino talent she picked up)
Talent: She can get into your head and make an illusion. No way to get out of it unless you recognize it as an illusion, and to do that, you'd have to know what the truth was (If ya need an explanation, PM me!)
Appearance: Has short hair that has dark roots, but lightens into reddish brown hair with artificial orange streaks in the bottom. Her fur is light gold and her ears still have the tribal tattoos put on every child of her tribe. She is meticulous about her tail and hates it when others bother it.

Bio: Her nomadic tribe had left her behind when she was still a small child as they set out on a trek, leaving her to deal with things on her own. She came to terms soon after, but always has the anger smouldering. She has a temper if you get on her nerves, but can be fairly easy going. She's not really pledged to any particular group, choosing instead to help whichever one she's on better terms with at the moment. She's old enough by tribe standards to have a mate, and has been looking for a couple of years for someone close enough to her species. she traves constantly, choosng to make her own burrow every night rather than settle with a group. Her sheilds are strong, but she's a very loyal person when one gets under them.

Talent: Increbile Strength
Appearance: Roughly 6' tall and covered in well kept silver-black fur. Has a lean physique and looks almost incapable of properly wielding his weapon.
Bio: When he was young he was abandoned and became a mercenary. Due to his past he never really trusted anyone fearing they would abandon him too, but still did the work of his employers. He sees this search for the scrolls as just another job that needs to be done.

Action and Cloverleaf are in my party....Brightfox and Inuyasha start up the next one...we need another member for them to be a full team...






ic: Sieg sat slouched over the fire....his team had just left the fortress and were already in need of food...he knew things would be hard...very hard....

Solarflare soars through the sky surveying the forested area below. He swoops down just below the tree line for a better look on his way back to the shore. When he reaches the shore he sees his four shipmates sitting on the beack waiting for him. He drops to within a few feet of the ground, then flaps his wings once hard time to slow himself for a gently landing. In flapping his wings so hard so close to the sandy beach he kicks up a large cloud of sand,
"christ man, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that over loose grained surfaces!" Action coughs as he emerges from the cloud of sand. '

"well if I don't do that, then there is only one other option for me landing..." Solarflare grins and jumps into the air.

"oh crap." Action says

"...using you as a landing pad." Solarflare laughs

Action's knees nearly buckle under the weight as Solarflare lands in his arms. Action stumbles back in forth before finally falling over backwards,
"get off you over-sized garden nomb!" Action shoves Solarflare off.

"enough you two," Boshito walks over and grabs Action's Finger and Solarflare ear and twists them both.

"come one luv, we were just-"

She twists Actions ear harder as she walks them over to the group and shoves them into place,
"solarflare, did you see anything?" Peekadoo asks

"yeah, just like the old man said, there's a village about half a mile inland." Solarflare answers

"well I guess we better get moving before it gets dark." Reubin flips his katana over his shoulder and begins walking into the forest.

"Okay guys the town we should be heading to is in the East...but we are heading West...now we have to...::girgle::...oh my stomach...how the heck are we gonna survive much longer without food?"



Sieg sits on a rock


"Sometimes I wonder why I took up the mantle of leading a party."

"D@mmit, who do they think they are! Think they can just let us be without food." Malice stomped around the the campfire. She was hungry, as the rest of the group, and cranky. They had left the fortress early just this morning and now it was nighfall.

Malice sighed and started walking into the forests. "I'm going off to find a deer or anything worth eating."

*looks over map*




We have to head through Grabel Forest...and then just a highroad and we should be at the town

Tsoyio had been wandering aimlessly in the woods, hoping to find a way out. Despite her decent sense of direction, this place was really confusing. She had to find someone to give these scrolls to. She had two carefully stashed in her cape. She had stolen them off a sleeping old man to sell. Getting more and more frustrated, she decided she'd had enough. She stopped walking and simply plopped down on the forest floor. She pulled out a stick of jerky and started gnawing on it. Hopefully, someone would bump into her and alleviate the boredom.

***uh, i'm confused now. can someone tell me the who's in what or who's what here? Mundungus: is it just us in the party now? :blink:***

Malice creeped silently through the forest. The only light that guilded her was the full moon and the stars above. Even that was blocked by the trees and branches of the forest. Bits and pieces of scatterd light from the moon lit the way. She stumbled and nearly fell.

"Crap. What the hell was I thinking! All the animals are asleep somewhere in their dens or underground." Malice kept on walking anyway, hoping to find some kind of animal that had left its home for a nighttime snack. She trudged along until she came upon a small bush covered in berries. Malice took one off. It was about the size of a dime. She smelled it then took a small bite.

"*cough**cough*D@mn, that's some sour crap...I guess it's better than starving in the forests." Malice took out a pouch and loaded it up. She turned and started walking again, but, suddenly, there came a russle from behind here. She saw something was moving in the shadows behind one of the trees near the berry bush. Malice took out her daggers and prepared herself. She stepped closer to the spot where the russling had come from. It seemed like a shadow of an animals tail.

Malice grinned. "No more berries tonight..."

Tsuyoi flicked her tail in annoyance. Damned fool that I am, I would let myself get turned around, wouldn't I? She berated herself angrily. She took a vicious bite out of the jerky. Out loud, she swore under her breath and thumped her tail harder. She wouldn't be in this fix if that fdeal hadn't gone sour. The men she had been barganing the scrolls with had figured on out-foxing her. She had taken her only opportunity, running into these damnable woods.

She pulled the little map she had stashed out and tried to make sense of it. It didn't work and she shoved it back in disgust. She finished her peice of jerky and figured sitting would still be her best option.

(ooc: from what i gather it's inyuasha and mundungus in a group and the rest of us are looking for the scrolls alone.)

ooc: If CloverLeaf is in a party in then she's in Inuyasha and mine...that is if Inuyasha is in a party...I usually only skim through bios....so there's a chance I'll miss something...I've been gone for awhile I know...

Appearance: Black, orange, white, and golden hair. Fuzzy tiger ears. Amber-goldish eyes.
Bio: she merely wishes to help bring peace back to Mobius so that her village/kingdom will live.
