...I disagree, you've been warped by the Gamefaqs Retar...er, moro..er, children...7 is just an overated peice of crud...it's Okaaaaaaaaaay, but i mean 8 had a classic story line, and the GF's just added that much more of the "Fantasy" to it...I mean...Sephiroth isn't THAT cool...he's a Guy with the "Masamune"...of course...Cid was one of the points that Kept the game good...I thought most of the Char design for 7 was okay, cept for Clouds...he was a Royal ass...for no fuggin reason...Sorry i could go on forever, but i'll leave room for others

I don't even like sephiroth, I just enjoyed that game so much. I loved the story, the characters, and the developement. I'm not one of those people who make shrines to aerith on the internet (god forbid) But I feel that ff7 excelled past the others in many ways. And I haven't been to any FF7 stuff on gamefaqs, so i wouldn't know...

I full agree with Sabin about FF7... I thought everything about FF8 was great specially the story with Laguna.

I like 7 so much more than 8, but 8 is still second best. Everything about it; the characters, the humor and als the great storyline just make it great.

Hahahah I'm such a jackass when it comes to discussing the best games :lol: :lol: :lol: Wait- Am I allowed to say that? I was j/k about 7 being the best game ever. That was my steadfast belief for over 3 years... But now I've moved on to bigger and better things *wipes tear* In a way Sabin your right I was blinded, but not by other people, by myself. FF7 was the first rpg I ever played (yeah, I know, point and laugh <_< ) So I thought it was the best thing that had graced our planet. Of course I played other rpgs during those times but I still thought 7 was the best. So thats why I voted for it. Lots of 2d rpgs are much better than ff7... I'm sure you'll jump to agree with me Sabin. Anyway, thats my reasoning.

7 is one of the most overrated games ever, FF 9 had it beat with storyline, characters, game options and just about everything else you could think of. FF 9 is probably the most underrated FF ever.

FF7 definatley >^-^< its got the best storyline ever! maby its not very good graphic wise but we still all love it ^^

Honestly I've never played 7 before and I never got to finish 8 or 9 due to some problems... The only one I've ever finished was 10 but to me it really wasn't that good and thanks to 10 my best friend started swooning over Tidus...

I will agree with you that 9 is underrated and that 7 is overrated, but it didn't beat out 7 in all that and neither did 8! I hate 8!

the GF system was just so weird and the whole sorceress thing was weird too! Ultemecia is stupid!

I hate 10 too! Tidus was a wuss and Yuna was the most cliche character ever! The whole heroine being a white mage! Argh!

9 doesn't give me much to complain about though... I don't like Zidane's character. I just don't, but Garnet rocked! Not her actual character, but how much her character developed and I just love it that she cut her hair!

But still I like 7 alot! Cloud was a pain in the butt sometimes. The whole Sephy controlling him got annoying sometimes, but Aeris dying was very original! Never in an FF before 7 had the heroine died!

Either way 7 is up there at the top with 9 close, very close, behind. Then I'd have to insert some 2-D ones like 3, which was also a great game and very close behind nine. And 8 would probably come not far after that, with 10 at the very very very very bottom. Further even than FF Adventure or whatever for gameboy.

And that is my 2 cents, my 2 yen, and my 2 bits worth!
