The encounter
Creatures come from every side
They cannot- are not- real, I lie
They reach out and touch my hair
Lift a lock that falls so near
I shudder and curl into my own
Feeling their cold to my very bone
They move in closer, I feel them all
I fall down, begin to crawl
A rough, clawed hand takes my leg
I get pulled back and start to beg,
“Leave me alone, leave me be”
The grasp tightens and I scream
I begin to panic, feel my heart pound
As I am dragged along the ground
I start to cry in murmurs and pleas
Try to hold the floor, try to flee
I kick back, the grasp tightens
It flips me over, I see the sky lighten
One of the creature starts to growl
They turn to me with a scowl
I see a claw rise as the sun does the same
Most disappear out of my gaze
One remains above me and fierce
With claws raised high ready to pierce
The light shines far as I lie on the ground
I scream as I see the claw come down
Pain sears through me, it’s all I know
I feel my heart beat start to slow
The creature moves into the shadows
In a safe place from its foe
I lie there and start to feel numb
Feel a darkness begin to come
Spots fill my vision, I can hardly breathe
I can’t believe that this it to be
But then I feel myself fall so deep
My sight fills with black in a calming sleep
I loose myself, feel my eyes close
No more pain in a world of ghosts

It reminds me of your other work (Yes, I've read some, I'm Dingo!!!). Pretty good. Lots of feeling coming off of this one. Did you rush-write this poem?
nah not really rushed but i had to get it to flow and it didnt seem like that someties but there were times were it did.
