Ever since you left me
Things never were the same
I never felt so lonely

I guess I'm just not used to this
My heart and mind are stressed
Perhaps because you were the one
Whose love I first confessed

I tried to forget the little time
That we had spent together
Now that I look back on it
I think I could have done better

The time we had was short
Guess I never saw it coming
Until the day itself just came
When I suddenly felt like nothing

It doesn't really matter now
The past is done and through
But even though I try to forget
I still do think about you

And now I know my heart is sure
I'm hoping for a second chance
I don't care should I get hurt
For a second first romance.
