Whats one of you games that you get sooooo close to beatning then fall flat on your face?

GTA 3 is bad for me i allways get shot doing some easy missions and should have been paying atttention to gang members

I dunno...I usually get stubborn if I don't beat something and keep replaying it until I do beat it. I think it's FF9. That last guy was beyond cheap. He'd petrify you then make you dizzy then make you die instantly then another thing.. All on different people mind you.

why do people think shinobi is a hard game? O_o" shinobi isn't a hard game imho. it's just a game the requires, quick thinking, straight decissions, skills and some luck. ^^, well, not until super mode where everything goes insane. ^^,

and same goes for GTA 3... i don't have the game... tried playing it in my friends unit... it's cool... i'm playing it at the last few parts... i'm doing ok. ^^,

there's really no such thing as a hard game... it's all in the minds. ^^, mind over matter. ^^,

anyone here ever played xenogears? that ones some sort of challenge for an rpg stuff. ^^,

yeah, if it's stressful... a lot are... uhmm... 3 months to 1 whole year delay... keeps you waiting forever... and all you is a bunch of stuffs that will disappoint you... those are the games that gives me stress... look at the money i've wasted. >.<" ohter than that... everything looks fine. ^^,

One game I spent 1 whole year trying to beat it. o_O Just can't remember what game it was ^o^, I was a game for either NES or SNES just can't remember the name of the game ^o^,

another thing that makes GTA 3 hard for me is my friend put pedestrian riot on and just HAD to save! that makes it perminant...i hate getting yanked out of my car....

Resident Evil anything really. First off I'm freaked out by what's gonna pop out and when it does pop out..how am I going to kill it? Not easy.
Digimon World 1&2...damn man...I mean...honestly...those games take patience I don't have. But hey...they are fun.
Devil May Cry- Hard and Dante Must Die modes. Aj knows what I mean. Not good for those with low gaming self esteem.
Star Ocean the Second Story is stressful at times...especially the Iselia Queen when you 1) are over level 180 2) Do not have the Bloody Armor 3) Playing the game on any difficulty. However...this is like...my favorite game.
I'm sure there are many more...but hey...I don't stress out over many games.

because i always get to disc 2 or 3, then my fil gets corrupted, or i cant continue my game for on reason or another. I played FF9 from start to disc 2 at least seven times over because my disc 3 was being a dork. lol

Lol, so many problem with FFIX! Well, I can't talk.
First time I played: I had hardly played rpgs at all before, and I thought I was doing pretty good. I had gotten up to Gizmaluke's Grotto, but I couldn't beat Gizmaluke!!! I didn't figure out until bout 6 months later that I hadn't had any of my characters learn abilities from equipment. So I finally did get passed him, then started over sometime in disc 2. *shrug* I did beat it a few years ago though, so its not all bad.

Stressful games ay? None for me...I dont get stressed over games...why would you...they a for recreation...but I guess if you mean the game that took the longest to beat...then probably a game called the Incredible Machine...they had five levels of difficulty...tutorial, easy, medium, hard and very hard...I would tend to rephrase them as...tutorial, medium, hard, very hard and so bloody hard that you would be tearing your hair out trying to beat them...though I didnt get around to tearing my hair out mainly because I never have any and because if it got too hard then I stopped playing...heh...

I actually thought FF9 was terribly easy... but maybe that was because I leveled up before I went to the last boss. The first time was terrible though, I skipped a lot of battles.

But my the most annoying game would have to be Parasite Eve. I was at the statue of Liberty thing fighting Eve (the saved game automatically brings me there) with only 2 potions and half ether power or magic. >_<

I know tons of annoying games. Like many games in the zelda series, for me, I just reach a certain point where it's like "That's it, this is too hard."

also, fighting games with an uber-powerful AI are no fun.

No games really stress me at all, some times I just get really bored and dont feel like playing it any more that day. But if I had to name one game that sorta stresses me out is splinter cell. Stupid espionage... I WANT TO JUST RUN OUT AND KILL EVERYONE.

the only real stress full game i can remeber is Chaos Legion..... it was just so hard...

If you've ever tried Mixed Matrix Slingo, that crap is friggin' stressful right there. o.O;;

Castlevania: LOI

Viewtiful Joe! And I'm on easy mode! The stupid shark keeps beating me, so i stopped playing. I need a good game for the road when I go to boston..>.<

Time Crisis; any version, as long as you're in an arcade.

Try playing that with people staring at you all weird x.x

Don't even get me started on the people that try playing DDR next me while I'm playing. Not only does that get annoying and distracting, but it's hella stressful when I try to answer peoples' questions while playing.

Silent Hill 2. Not so much for the fact of the puzzles or anything, oh no. I get to the museum area, save, eat lunch and do some other stuff. I come back "Data Corrupted" ... Needless to say the SH2 disc went flying across the room. Never did beat it, didn't care really. I was utterly mad at the thing, considering how sluggish it starts out, and with it focusing mainly on melee weaponry it really runs sluggishly.

Breath of fire 3 and 4. There are parts where you follow clues and navigate through a desert. THOSE ARE FUCKING HARD :(

...solitaire, especially on the computer *grumbles about stupid cheating computer*

I'd have to say.....uh...uh...uh....well let me make a list.

1. Golden Sun2 (I run around and around in circles not knowing what to do with myself for an hour. When I finally find out what to do its so easy i feel pathetic)

2. Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time (I finally get out of some dungeon only to get sent back to another one....mommy dont make me go back in the dark!)

3. Super Smash Brothers (This games not hard but its annoying because just when you start to get kinda good someone else, who has never played before in their lives, comes and starts beating me up...like my one friend in Texas. I should try to get her here, you guys might like her.)

4. Soul Calibur (Same story as SSB)

5. Runescape (Only because for some reason I make all these newbish friends who beg for stuff and drive me mad....I just dont have the heart to say "Leave me alone you annoying little weasles!!")
