Had one, but the ground was really un-fertile. So, I have turned it into a burn pile. Next planting season it should be good and ready since I have had it as a burn pile for about 3 years! O_O

I would, but I live in an apartment with no space for even a window box. I do have a potted ivy hanging from my ceiling though. His name is Bob.

I've had a garden now for about 3 months. We started out with onion, crook-neck squash, bell peppers, green beans, watermelon, cataloupe, and zuchini. The squash and zuchini have grown enormous and taken up most of the garden, and blocked out the sunlight to the green beans and onions. Thus, both are dwindling away. We've eaten some of the green beans, bell peppers, squash and zuchini. So far, so good. I can't wait for the watermelons though ^^

My mom has a flower garden in the back and window boxes out front, but they are her's mostly. I do help with the cherry tomatoes that we grow on out roof. I think the only thing close to mine that I have would be a bonsai fern in my room (I'm not sure he's gonna make it though, because no one watered him while I was at camp and no matter what I do he still dosen't look so good :( )

here in my little unit... no.

back there in my family's house... yes. ^^,

and i'm the one incharge of taking good care of it most of the times. =p

well, it's not really a garden as in real garden with all the veggies in it... [more like flower garden.] but it also has some veggies...
  • papaya
  • etc. [i forgot. =p]

what i can remember on the other hand are the flowers... uhm... got 7 roses in pots to take care of... one big sampaguita plant full of white flowers... a couple of orchids... and a whole lot more i can't remember. [and yeah, i don't know the names of the others... kinda weird huh? but i enjoy it as much as i enjoy babysitting and taking care of our pets. ^^"]

^^,

sampaguita...bango nun ah. ^^. inggit ako grabe.

lol byaggha. speaking of bob, I have an imaginary friend bob who i blame whenever something bad happens. poor bob ;_;

oh and my mom takes care of 9 different kinda of roses, only a few make good potpourri, so i dry the petals of the few roses that do. smells pretty good too ^^.

I have a mystery tree in my back yard. I wanted a Lemon Tree, and I got Oranges. The next batch, I got Limes, then the third, I got both Limes and Oranges...

I know there lemon seeds, cause after I cut the lemon, I planted the seeds imediately.

Then, the other day...I was picking the batch, which I finally got lemons, I picked a Orange-Lemon. It was shaped like a lemon, and lemon inside, but the peel was orange O.O.

Lemon tree's along with limes, and oranges are the oddest things ever....

redeye_ryu - August 26, 2003 12:42 AM (GMT)
how can those trees grow sooo fast

also how can u get a mix of both friuts without a genedic lab

Kenshin - August 26, 2003 12:52 AM (GMT)
I have no Idea. But what from I heard from my friend. That when there growing, you must pick the middle most fruit. Then they will stay the seed you planted. If you don't, a severe randomness in fruits will happen O.O;;;

And when I said that, I meant I planted it ways back.

I don't have any gardens, but I do go to a place called Longwood Gardens a lot. It's this really beautiful place full of all kinds of trees and flowers and one of the world's largest non-commercial conservatories.

OLD TOPIC YAY!!!!!!

I use to have a garden...

i grew...

Roman Tomatoes
Yellow Squash
Red Peppers
Watermellons
and Pumpkins

but now its to late in the year and it all died so no more garden....

redeye_ryu - November 19, 2005 05:51 PM (GMT)
HOLY HELL THIS IS OLD!
o-well
i had a bad season this year

the carrotts where large (but very small numbers, and in ground too long)

cant find my onions (wich sucked, got mabye 5 normal and 1 HUGE onion..out of 20 onions XD)
my herbs blew (at lease my catnip is back :))

only thing good where the plenty of yummy strawberry's and we got a new patch of broken ground, so we turned that to a small garden full of tomatoes (got plenty of them)

edit:: after reading my first post...i have the same things (exept the pea's, garlic sucked balls)
and the only things improved where strawberrys (3rd season after all)
