True...I also like 6...it had the 3 battle sequences going at once...and it had some cool quotes...(INTENSIFY THE FORWARD FIRE POWER...anyone?)...also it really finished off the series very well...definately the best one...

Bill Gates - August 6, 2003 12:53 AM (GMT)
I'd have to choose Episode II, mainly because of the Yoda fight. That was just too awesome.

Byaggha - August 6, 2003 02:30 AM (GMT)
I like Empire best. Maybe it's because Luke finally gets his cumuppance for being a whiner the last movie and a half...damn kid. TAKE THAT!

redeye_ryu - August 6, 2003 03:24 AM (GMT)

Bruce Lee - August 6, 2003 07:52 AM (GMT)
Return of the Jedi owns all Star Wars movies. Excellent soundtrack, awesome storylines and definately the coolest battles.

Kurenai - August 14, 2003 05:24 AM (GMT)
Wow, I never thought people would love 6 so much. I agree though. Its the best one yet.
What I loved the most was the three simulataneous battles. That was soo awesome and had your heart racing. LOL
Hehee, the ewaks freakin rocked though! They looked cool and they could kick some ass. Hehe, by far my favorite Star Wars creature.

Mei-Ling - August 26, 2003 02:28 AM (GMT)
x_x i can't decide. i like the jawas, ewoks, and Chewbacca ^_^ but i thought number 2 was lacking a bit...too much lovey dovey stuff for StarWars >_< other than that they're all good!

Gunblade16 - September 3, 2003 04:11 AM (GMT)
Well mine is either 2 or 6. But considering that 6 is just as good as 2 but was made like 25 years earlier im gonna pick it. It had some cool battles in it. Also it had the Ewoks and those guys were awesome, lol.

I can best encapsulate my feelings about Star Wars: Attack of the Clones in three words: Roger Ebert can kiss my ass! I am, of course, a bit biased for two reasons:

1) I hate Roger Ebert
2) I love Star Wars

I refer, of course, to Ebert’s reckless two star rating of Clones. Clear proof of my ongoing assertion that this man is an idiot! I won’t spoil it for those who have yet to see it, but I’d like to point out a few reasons (which Ebert obviously missed) for seeing Episode II:

-The Crawl
I still get goosebumps when the giant “Star Wars” takes up the screen. I’m hooked from the beginning!

-The effects
One word: Amazing! Whereas in Episode I, the digital effects were sometimes too much, making digital characters look, well, digital, this time it’s seamless. I can’t overemphasize how great this movie looks. Spider who?

-Mandalorian Armor
Let’s just say that when Jango Fett is in a scene, something awesome is going to happen

-Christopher Lee
One of my favorite actors from classic swashbuckling AND horror movies (not to mention a little film called Fellowship of the Rings). Since he knows how to fence, he did his own work in the duel scenes. I also chuckle whenever someone says “Dooku.”

-That Mace Windu is one bad mother- Shut your mouth!
I'm just talkin’ about Mace Windu...

-The Big Battle Scene
Jedi and Droids and Clones, oh my! The big battle must feature a (digital) cast of thousands. I’m still swooning!

-The love story
We all know that this is essential to Episode III events, but luckily it doesn’t get too sappy or overrun the rest of the plot.

-The mystery
Yes, there’s an unfolding mystery threaded through the plot. I enjoyed seeing the clues and putting the pieces together. I’m ready to cast Ewan McGregor in a Quincy remake...

-Yoda
No comment, ‘nuff said.

There’s much more, but I’ve only seen it once (until tomorrow, anyway) so I can’t recall all of the greatness. Just after the movie, I gave it three thumbs up. Then I reduced it to two thumbs up, because Jar Jar didn’t get killed. I then raised it back to three thumbs up, based on Natalie Portman’s white top, which is, uh, let’s just say very form-fitting.

So there it stands: Three thumbs up. See this movie! Even better, see it at A huge, great theatre for digital sound and projection, you’ll be glad. I must admit, I was disappointed in the non-hype, though. The clandestine announcement of ticket sales, no huge line to bond with other sci-fi obsessed losers, no childlike glee when I finally got
my tickets... Bummer! Oh, well, maybe next time. Until then,

See ya at the clone factory!
