Title: OK i see why people hate winter now

redeye_ryu - December 3, 2005 01:14 AM (GMT)
ok i was driving to school and the roads where HORRIBLE! (my car was covered in ice when i drove home the night before...which i almost crashed then too!)

and to let remind ya, i have a rear wheel car

well, i turn onto the main road wich is on a hill..and my tires had no traction XD
then some dumb ass (sorry if i swore but i need to make it as clear as possible how pissed i am) cut me off and he was going slow since he had no traction. so i put on the breaks and the ABS kicks in and wont stop so in order to not hit him (wich i sould since my car is a freeking tank!!!!) i went into a ditch and about a minute later of burning rubber (not really) i got out of it :)

so anyone elce hate winter?
and if you dont...you hell sure will if you have a rear-wheel car! and theres a dumb ass that cuts you off!

edit:: tell ya the truth i love winter...i just HATE driving now!

I love winter.

'course, we don't get tons of snow or anything..maybe an inch or so, and it melts the same day ^^,

And I don't drive yet, so...I can't relate. lol

I love winter. And I don't mind driving in it, as I usually stick more to back roads, where you don't have as many people. Of course, if it's REALLY bad, I don't go out unless I have to.

I hate it. Largely because I hate being cold. But I can't live in the south either because I don't fit in with the culture there (to put it mildly...). So...Imma stay in Philly and inside for the next three or four months with a heating pad, blanket, and hot cocoa ^ ^.

There isent really much of a southern culture any more..... anyway i love the winter time.... it sure as hell beats the 110 degree summers........

Kiefer Sutherland - December 3, 2005 06:52 AM (GMT)
Im quite the opposite...I really hate winter with a vengeance...Anything below 25 degrees C (77 F) is cold for me, and I have been known to wear jumpers in weather upwards of 28 (82 F)...I especially hate it when it gets below 15 (59 F)...thats just really cold...

Im more of a summer person myself...anything over 35 (95 F) is great...38 (100 F) is optimum...although 110 F wouldnt be too bad either considering thats about 43 C...

Toushiro Hitsugaya - December 3, 2005 06:54 AM (GMT)
like two weeks ago it droped down to about 40 F...... feelt so good..... it was one magical night....

did that sound gay????

Bill Gates - December 3, 2005 08:12 AM (GMT)
I used to love the summer time...but my liking quickly shifted once I moved to the desert.

You can only take so much clothes off during the summer heat before you get arrested for exposing yourself. xD 120F heat is no fun.

In the case of winter...you can bundle up all you like and keep yourself warm. I find it amusing how many people I'd see at school still wearing barely anything because big coats aren't the in thing, or they still wanna show off some cleavage. And they complain "Oh I hate winter, it's so coooold." wtf. If you put some damn clothes on, you wouldn't have that problem! xD

'course, I know a lot of people who have very little tolerance to cold stuff...which in that case, I can understand not liking cold weather.

But...winter is snow much better to me. I still like summertime...but only if I can be at the beach or lake xD

Bruce Lee - December 3, 2005 08:52 AM (GMT)
Summer, beach, woo!

I like all seasons except the one that just passed (spring) cause hayfever=gay. We only get heavy rain mid-winter here, no snow and rarely hail and never icy roads (unless due to a youthful prank) so winter's alright to drive in here, like all seasons.

Jack Thompson - December 4, 2005 04:21 AM (GMT)
lol, down here at UCF, you can REALLY tell who's from up north and who's from down south. The Floridians will put on heavy winter coats if it gets down below 65 F (I am not making this up). Whereas those of us from just south of the Great White North are still in shorts and T-shirts in the mid fifties. XD Southern freaks.

Toushiro Hitsugaya - December 6, 2005 11:14 PM (GMT)
HAHA... yeah ya southern freaks..... wait...

not for me... it was actually in the 40s this morning man it felt good... i love the cold...

redeye_ryu - December 7, 2005 01:13 AM (GMT)
XD neo
I LOVE when its in the 50's
because im not hot and im not cold! PERFECT!

also i like backroads now XD
this day when i posted about sliding, well the back roads (still not plowed) are in better condition (i can go around a turn 30-40 MPH and not slide...alittle bit XD)

but i love the cold!
and im loving back roads more since they get more traction (im talking about dirt roads)
