In my opinion, it has to be FFVI (as well as being my favorite FF of all time :D )
The way these songs were implemented into the game where flawless. It perfectly fit into the current mood of the game.
The ending theme was my favorite by far though. Its one of the few mixes I enjoy from the Final Fantasy soundtrack series. Heheeh, whats your favorite?!

Well...being the kind of person I am...I dont have a favourite 'soundtrack'...I like a variety of songs from each soundtrack...but if I really had to pick one Id have to say 7 atm...it has my favourite ff song...plus very cool boss and battle music...though like I said I prefer a variety from each st that just one full one...

Tough question. I'd have to say FF8 actually. Some of my best of all songs are on that one. A close second is the FF7 one.

Definitely FF10 or FF8. I have the soundtrack for the former but I have mp3s of the latter.

I love Suteki Da Ne and the Besaid bg music. They always seem to set the right mood at the right place.

FFTactics had a really good soundtrack. The songs were a lot different from the other games. They had like a renaissance vibe to em, I guess. I really liked it.

i dont have a favourite because i like a selection from each soundtrack but if i had to say it'd be ff 7.. theres my 2 cents for today..

ff8's edea's battle and normal theme and ff7's septh's evil themes including the one winged angel.

Ack this is a hard question O.o... I love Final Fantasy 7's soundtrack but FF8 has Eyes on Me and FF10 also has a lot of music I like... I even like FF9 music x.x... I'm going to have to say I don't have a favorite as well since I like too much... If it's required to pick, I have to say Final Fantasy 7... It had a terrific soundtrack that helped build emotions so well... Nobuo Uematsu just makes a ton of good music...

I cant pick...Id have to say all of them....but i think the best ending music is FFVs...

I hafta say..all of them! I loved the songs..so hard to pick a specific one though. All of them had their moments..^_^

FFIX, just because I know all that music too much. ^_^ After that it'd have to be the hyper music from FFX-2 and stuff from FFVIII.

A close tie between FFIX and FFX. I love both of the soundtracks; the majority of the songs can set a mood and give you the attitude that you are supposed to have. Just by playing certain songs you can get a whole other perspective on any certain sequence of a game, and I think these two games inparticular show the actual power of song.

I also loathe the FFX-2 soundtrack. It gives me nightmares.

X-2's music is easy to despise, considering it lacks the Uematsu feel to it that the other games have..and the music is doesn't really fit the mood half of the time. One of the tracks sounds like a tune you'd hear in a horror flick, not an FF game.

For FF X-2 I like the piano song..when they show the lil credits on te begining..before the menu comes up..>.> But Yeah the FF X-2 wasn't as great..Uematsu makes the right music for the games. ^-^
