Elza's Choice (Just something for people who participated. Don't we all love the comments and criticism? Basically, these are my choices. I obviously voted for them and found them to be the best from the rest. I dunno if that really means anything since I'm not an authority in Graphics or anything. I'm merely an enthusiast with a lot of free time. Though mostly because I slack off. -_-)
So, without further ado! My choices!
Free As A Bird - Static
Also the winner but that's not really the reason why I chose this. I just found it really unique. Very techie and simple. (Simplicity is always better.) That's why it stood out to me. The only problem is Static forget to remove the white bg and didn't work with a transparent one. Nonetheless, it's over-all pretty good. :P I'm such a sucker for good backgrounds because I could never make a decent one so I have to admire what he did with his. Very nice indeed! Good job on that!
I Me Mine - Jadestone
This was a pretty tough pick for me. Everyone used Cloud which made it even harder since I had to pick which one was best used and which feeling was better expressed. Again, Static did pretty good with his but not good enough to get my vote, sadly. :P I believe Jadestone's (second) work did what I'm looking for the most. The words absolutely perfect the idea about Cloud and Tifa. They just fit. I know it's quite literal but
meh, the effects were done really well. :D I can't say anything bad about the sig except probably the lack of color. Using some gradients would have probably made this stand out more. But again, good job!
Revolution - NEO_SEPHIROTH
I bet you didn't see this one coming!?:P Not that I was being sarcastic. *shifty-eyed* Quality-wise it's a bit off (you could have made the images crispier. And Tifa should have been CG like the others.) but since I was looking at the animation, I have to give it a hand to NEO for making this. It's not really a typical sig either which is cool since I love all things unusual and unique. This sig was a lot of that. Though to be honest, I don't like the color AT ALL. :P It's too bright. xP Haha, but not to worry the animation made up for that. :) Good job, yo.
It would have been predictable if I chose otherwise (for Revolution) and besides, I think it's time to give the underdogs a chance to shine, eh? *nod*
