Have you heard of these guys? If so what is your fav song of theirs?

If you dont know who they are...they are a band who do remixes of FF songs...they really do a great job on them...if you have winmx or anything like it then you should definately get their songs if you like ff...

3 I reccommend are Those who Fight Further, JENOVA and Force Your Way...but they are all cool...

I think I've heard some of their work..I was checkin' out my media player one day and came across some FF remixes. Black Mages sounds really familiar as a artist name.

I never heard of them, I should download one of there songs.

They're pretty awesome. Most are among my best songs...Battle Scene 1 and 2 aren't too good, but the rest are good.

to my memory i have them all but they may have a few new ones. anyway i wanna say they are some of the coolest remixes of ff songs yet. if anyone can beat them at remixing ff songs (to my ears) i will destroy my ears. just kidding but they are cool so check them out

Somehow I dont think the new album will be quite as good as the first one...which is understandable...but yeah...and from what Ive heard of MWTMG, it might sound a bit dodgy...just my opinion though...

Just got The Black Mages II: The Skies Above yesterday...

Man With the Machine Gun is all right...personally I favor Hunter's Chance over all of them.

I liked the first cd better, but eh, that's just 'cause I loved the way The Decisive Battle was arranged XD That song was a perfect rock out.

I personally liked the 2nd album better actually. There were just a great proportion of songs i liked on the 2nd. (didn't really like either battle scenes *especially*. The ff6 battle theme and the seymour battle on the first cd weren't too good either, whereas i just didn't like Zeromus and Man With the Machine Gun on the second) My faves from the second are Maybe I'm a Lion and The Rocking Grounds. Hunter's Chance was ok but i think it could have been remixed a bit more (for example, my two faves are complete arrangements, sounding only barely like the originals), The Skies Above was ok, probably could've done without the singing. The rest were good :P btw remember i'm still a reviewer at rpgamer.net so i'll be doing a review for this for sure. Great stuff ^^

Hmmm...I'd have to say the first one was the best...but the second is really good too...although a few complaints...the Skies Above is incredibly bad its almost painful...the singing is just appauling...Otherworld could have been great, cept the singing is crap...and I thought Hunter's Chance ok...although it sounds way too much like the original...they should have changed a few things...other than that though...the rest are great...
