Title: In The Forest

Chaos walked about the forest in his battle attire. He ran his hands through his hair and reached for his daggers... He winced as the magical surge's of his power ran through his hands to the very tip of the blade. He grinned and brandished the daggers before swiping a tree... Sap poured from the tree and Chaos captured it in a vile. The teen safely tucked the vile into his pocket..

"Hmm... "

Chaos grinned before placing his daggers back into their proper spot. He took hold of the chain whip... Foot steps sounded behind him. Chaos turned around as the sun glared in his eyes. He frowned and clenched his teeth and cracked his whip.

"Give me all of your money or die... Die a painful death."

The teen boy glared madly and gritted his teeth as he cracked the whip again, a small fizz of electric matter giving off and difusing, representing his anger.

((OOC: Not taking it easy should be easy, but I haven't done this in a while, so forgive my rusty posts.))

Dusk, the battle-worn warrior that he was, began his pursuit through the forest following the sheltered river. The clear blue water was nothing but a trail that he could not walk upon. The icy, freezing substance was nothing more than a symbol of life and death, one of nature's enigmas. Still, it was quite perplexing that such calm extremities could turn on someone in an instant.

Of course, this river didn't contain enough water to do so. It looked only a foot deep, and was more of a stream than the rapid river that anyone would imagine at hearing the word river. Dusk still tracked it, walking at his own ordinary pace, his robe scuttling the ground, collecting dust in a swirl behind him from the amount of dirt upon the grassy forest floor. Although his robe did drag, it seemed not to collect dirt itself, and so it was still a perfect black, massively sized to make him seem bigger than he actually was.

Even so, his head was no longer within the sanctity of the darkness the robe usually concealed him within. The entire fault lay on the sun above, the bright yellow beams cascading through the forest trees. The atmosphere about this warrior was tranquil and peaceful, but he was still attentive. When one let down their guard, they could perish easily, and Dusk didn't plan on dying yet. A sound billowed with the wind, carried by the silhouette of invisible life, the sole reason why anyone was still living. Oxygen, and then water, still a part of the oxygen-base, as one would properly learn in chemistry, or in botany. In this day and age, one taught themself by reading books of literature and disguise, hoping that they could one day reveal the tome of their life within their mind, the instances of their life flashing before them before they perished into the empty void of the afterlife, the holy glow of Heaven, or the abyssal plains of torturous Hell, depending on the religion of the dying man.

The sound courted by the wind brought the thought of Dusk being followed, but he would've sensed such actions. He wasn't one to be that bad when it came to being followed. "Hmm. Perhaps I am not alone in this forest. Could possibly be a villager..." With all of the thoughts that coursed through his head, this was more prominent, the dominant reply being that of an open-minded answer spoiled only by the surprise of finding this one person to be somewhat different than his mythological complaint in his own mind.

Trees beside him disappeared, only to be replaced in a different way by others, Dusk darting toward the sound, one hand stuck to the hilt of his sheathed kodachi, his robe kicked up behind him as he sped, crouched low to the ground. Leaves and dirt spun behind him everytime he kicked off of the ground to step forward quickly, forming the running motion that allowed him to travel quite expediently. Still, this unknown form that he could sense wasn't a villager, which trashed his previous theory. No; this was someone or something else with an intent. "A battle, it would seem. They appear to be anxious." Dusk enjoyed his ability to sense others and their emotions from afar, but this was sometimes a downfall. Everyone had their weaknesses.

Appearing before the warrior in the clearing, Dusk Lion's kodachi flew from his sheathe as he pressed the soles of his boots against the ground, allowing him to slide a little ways through the leaves before stopping, the kinetics of his body moving down into the dirt, kicking it up in the opposite direction, into the grasp of the wind. His eyes stared intently at this unknown stranger, locks of his hair plummeting to rest along the sides of his face, out of his eyes. One hand rested on his sheathe, the other holding his weapon of choice out. "A bad day for one to be walking alone in a forest like this waiting for a battle. I wish you luck in the afterlife..."

((OOC: Obviously, the first attack is yours. Good luck.))

Chaos cackled as he concealed his whip with both hands, his hands stuck out in front of him and he concentrated. The blade at the end swung back and forth...

Chaos glared at the person in front of him and whip began to glow. The energy built up and Chaos hand's trembled. Chaos suddenly leaped into the air and swung the whip, a bolt of light charged up and released as the whip cracked in mid-air, sending 3 rings of dark energy towards the man... Chaos landed on his feet and watched with a evil smirk.

Ok... I don't really know what to do, and since I don't godmod I am not saying if it hits you or not.. I know this is short but I just finished writing a wrestling match for my e-fed  Tell me if what I am doing is right or not.

The initial attack of the man standing before him was quite expected, and so Dusk pressed his left boot to the ground and pushed off, sending his curling body into a barrel roll along his back. The dirt kicked up around him, and around the spot in which the dark energy erupted upon the ground, leaving Dusk to roll onto his feet and look up at this contestant of battle. The evil smirk this man's face contained wasn't at all alarming. He had seen the devious looks in men's eyes when they thought they had the upper hand. But, now Dusk was the enemy, and he wouldn't be underminded by this feeble excuse for a challenger.

He wouldn't necessarily call this man a victim, but in all essence, that was what he was going to become if he stood around smirking like that the entire battle. It was obvious this man would be used to long-range attacks due to his weapon of choice, and so Dusk held out his hand, extending his fingers. His hand encircled a small, invisible sphere from the air, and brought it into his palm, cradling what seemed to be air, and then threw it forward, toward Chaos. Of course, he was unsure of this man's name, but for the sake of saving myself from being redundant, I shall use the name of the character every once in a while.

The bolt of air sped toward Chaos, gaining kinetic energy. If it hit, it would send this fighter to the ground, but it wasn't meant to do damage. It was simply a way to get him to the ground while Dusk closed the gap between them.
