The Match was a fairly one sided affair towards Australia running in 13 tries to 1 With Craig Fitzgibbon kicking 11\11 conversations and Craig Gower got 1\1 and Brett Kimmorley got 0\1. Australia dominated the game the game witch lead towards such a high scoring game by the Australian team. In the 5 minute of the game and unfortunate accident happened to Darren Lockyer by getting caught in a head high tackle in the leading up to Ryan Girlder try
and he suffer a broken nose. But he lived to come back in the 21 first minute replacing ryan girlder who had limp off again after suffering a blow. In the 16th minute of the match when the score was 18-0 heavy rain started to make the conditions unbearable for both teams. In the 27th minute of the game the rain has finally stoped but it did come at the price of another try which was scored by Darren Lockyer and converted by fitzy then the score was 30-0.In the 37 minute wales actually have somethink to smile about when they score a try in the corner by Kris Tassel which was not converted by the kicker. This was th one and only highlight for the welsh in tonight's game. The half time score was 36-4 to Australia. The full time score was 76-4
