The night kicks off with a montage of highlights from last week's clashes between Luke Sharpe and Jelly Adams to the tune of 'Prayer' by Disturbed. It starts with the two staring each other off in the ring, builds with highlights from the matches (including Luke's two Spears), and ends with a deranged shot of Luke.

Pyros go off, and the big crowd rises as one as 'Bring Me Back to Life' hits. Chris Walker struts to the ring with Steve at his side.
Chris: Tonight I'm offering the chance of a lifetime to one lucky young wrestler out there. Well, two actually. The first two juniors to get out here will wrestle in a match. The winner will get an ASWF contract.
(He produces a contract as proof)
'Chick Magnet' by mXpX hits and a handsome young man, flanked by a pair of beautiful women, appears at the top of the ramp. It's Josh Hussey!
Chris: Well, well Josh. Get down here and let's see who you're wrestling.
'The Impression That I Get' by Mighty Mighty Bosstones hits, and Brandell appears at the top of the ramp.
Chris: Looks like we have a match!
Brandell vs. Josh Hussey (One Fall)
Hussey's 'valets' help him out of his jacket before the match, and then stand ringside to cheer him on. Brandell eyes them hungrily, allowing Hussey to get in a cheap shot. Brandell drops and stumbles to his feet, where he is slapped across the chest several times. Irish whip, Brandell reverses and picks Hussey up in a bear-hug. Hussey punches him in the head until he is released, and then gets a slingshot elbow off the ropes. Cover, but it barely makes two. The pair exchange punches again, with Brandell getting the upper hand and hitting a double underhook suplex! Instead of going for the cover he does a running splash, which crushes the air out of Hussey! Cover gets 2, but Hussey gets a shoulder up.
Brandell continues to assert his dominance, even gets off a dangerous looking pile-driver at one point. Hussey doesn't look healthy, and rolls out of the ring to recover. Brandell follows, but gets distracted by Hussey's beautiful valets. As they fawn over him, Hussey grabs a chair and hits Brandell across the back with it! Brandell turns, and cops another shot across the face! He's been split open! Hussey rolls him back into the ring and makes the cover. 1-2-2.9999.....Brandell somehow kicks out, crowd seems mixed in who they're supporting. Hussey looks pissed off and he whips Brandell into the corner. Brandell counters with a big boot, then goes to the second rope to hit a splash! That has to be it! Wait, the ref's being distracted by Hussey's two valets! Brandell goes over to grab the ref, but is shoved over the top rope by Hussey. He looks to capitalise with a baseball slide, which sends Brandell crashing into the guards. Hussey then taunts in the ring, getting the crowd offside. Brandell stumbles back into the ring, where Hussey kicks him in the stomach and signals for his finisher, Ladies Loving! Brandell counters into a reverse armbar however, and now Hussey looks like he's in trouble. He struggles to the ropes, and Brandell relinquishes the hold.
Hussey's left arm looks numb, and he can't seem to get a solid punch on Brandell. Brandell lifts Hussey into a bear-hug, and Hussey feebly beats at Brandell's chest. He goes limp and the ref signals for the bell!
WINNER: Brandell by submission
Chris Walker and Steve Simmons appear at the top of the ramp with the contract.
Chris: Steve, go and welcome Brandell to the ASWF.
Steve makes his way to the ring, contract in hand, where Brandell waits.
Steve: Welcome to the ASWF.
He extends a hand to Brandell, who accepts it. Simmons pulls him close and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex! Josh Hussey stumbles to his feet, gets a kick to the stomach, and a powerbomb! Steve has demolished both competitors.
Chris: That was the worst match in the ASWF's short history. Neither of you deserve the contract!
Steve tears the contract up and throws the pieces at the two prone wrestlers.

Wissam El Masri's Kebabs: Salmonella Free for 17 Days
We return from commercial to find DJMaC in the ring. He has the mike in hand.
DJMaC: As all of you peons know, I have to defend my Oceania title tonight against an opponent of my choosing. So, I choose...
(He pauses and scans the audience)
DJMaC: You! (He points at a fan, who looks as shocked as anyone). Well, come on, don't you want the gold? Get out here?
(The bemused fan makes his way to the ring)
DJMaC: Relax mate, I'll go easy on you, OK?
Fan: OK....
DJMaC: What's your name?
Fan: Grant Johnston....
DJMaC: OK Grant. You ready?
DJMaC vs. Grant Johnston for Oceania Title (One Fall)
DJMaC hands the belt to the fan in a show of sportsmanship. Johnston looks at it with awe, and DJMaC levels him with a stiff uppercut to the jaw! Grant drops the belt and it skids out of the ring. DJMaC drags the shocked fan to his feet and whips him, hitting a big boot and then climbing the turn-buckle to play to the crowd. The fan stumbles to his feet, and DJMaC climbs back down. He locks the man in a head-lock and continues to wave at the crowd. The ref lifts the Johnston's arm, and it drops twice, but DJMaC releases him before the third test can be made. He kicks him in the stomach, and sets him up for a powerbomb.... WHAT AN IMPACT! The fan is out cold! DJMaC makes the cover. 1-2-3.
WINNER: DJMaC by pinfall
'Ausche zu Ausche' hits and Marshal Boyd runs into the ring! He and DJMaC immediately begin to exchange punches, with Marshal soon gaining the upper hand! Boyd whips him and hits a hurricanrana! DJMaC stumbles to his feet and Marshal hits a tornado DDT. MaC is out cold, and Marshal has helped the fan to his feet. He offers the title to Johnston, and indicates that he should hit DJMaC with it. DJMaC stumbles to his feet and gets collected with his own title! Boyd lifts Johnston's arm in victory!

DJMaC: Did you just see that! Marshal Boyd spoiled my victory celebrations!
Chris: (Sarcastically) I did, and I'm as outraged as you are.
DJMaC: (Not noticing) Well, I demand a match against Boyd and that little punk!
Chris: I can't get the fan back for next week, Dave, he won't be there.
DJMaC: Well, give me Marshal in a tag match with someone else!
Chris: Alright, next week it will be you and Steve vs. Marshal and whoever he chooses.
DJMaC: Good.

Kermitt: I will succeed.
Rats: I will succeed.
Kermitt: I will fight for the Queen's honour.
Rats: I will fight for the Queen's honour.
Kermitt: I AM a champion!
Rats: I am a champion!
Kermitt: Excellent work old boy. You're ready to take on the world now. Go out there and give them hell!
Wizard 1o1 makes his way to the ring. He is soon joined by JD Marskell, MrCharisma, Charisma Chris Maunder, Andrew Young, Michael Sparrow, Trent the Flight Attendant, Aaron the Cheerleader, Tommy O'Reilly, and Lance Rats. The referee signals the match's beginning after laying a ladder in the middle of the ring.
Battle Royale Ladder Match for Cruiserweight Title
Everyone begins in the match in familiar style, going at it hell for leather. It's not long before Andrew Young is tossed over the top rope by MrCharisma, who seems to be out of his weight class here. MrCharisma soon finds Chris Maunder, and the two battle in one corner of the ring. Meanwhile, Gay Pride double whip Tommy O'Reilly and catapult him over the top rope with an interesting flapjack variant.
MrCharisma and Chris Maunder's clash has become heated, with Maunder down in the corner and MrCharisma stomping away at him. Lance Rats has got the ladder, and unnoticed, has begun to set it up. Wizard 1o1 finally notices, and as Rats nears the top, he pushes it over, sending Rats out of the ring and onto the mat! Michael Sparrow rushes over to take advantage of Wizard 1o1 being distracted, but is rewarded with a high kick to the head! Wizard 1o1 tosses Sparrow over the top rope. JD Marskell and MrCharisma are attempting to double team Maunder out of the ring, but JD is bundled over the top rope by Aaron the Cheerleader. MrCharisma goes over as well, but holds onto the bottom rope and slides back into the ring.
Aaron and Trent are now teaming on Charisma Chris Maunder, who is the worse for wear after his encounter with MrCharisma. The pair whip him and hit the same flapjack that eliminated Tommy O'Reilly, but Maunder somehow holds on. Gay Pride turn around to see Wizard 1o1 rushing at them with the ladder, which strikes the pair of them and knocks them over the top rope. It's down to Wizard 1o1, Charisma Chris Maunder, and MrCharisma!
The three square off against each other, none looking eager to commit to an assault. Wizard 1o1 breaks first, rushing in on MrCharisma and hitting him with a few punches before Maunder joins the fray. Charisma and Maunder whip Wizard 1o1, who hits a springboard lionsault off the rope and lays the pair out. He goes up top.....FROGSPLASH! MrCharisma rolls to the outside, but he's still eligible, as he goes out under the bottom rope. Chris Maunder stumbles to his feet, and gets hit with a shuffle kick by Wizard. He stumbles back and lands heavily on the ropes, and Wizard 1o1 hits a missile dropkick to eliminate him! He celebrates, thinking MrCharisma has been eliminated.
Charisma rolls back into the ring with the Ethnic title in hand, and swings, but Wizard ducks and hits a sharp kick to Charisma's stomach. He drops the title, and Wizard whips him and hits a hurricanrana! MrCharisma is in trouble, and he's whipped to the corner. Wizard 1o1 rushes forward, but Charisma moves and dives for his title again. He swings, and collects Wizard across the face with it! He's out cold. MrCharisma sets up the ladder and begins to climb, but Wizard has woken up and he's climbing it to. The two are at the top and begin to exchange punches! This could be dangerous. Wizard 1o1 sets MrCharisma up for a suplex from the top! He gets it! That shook the ring! That was real PPV material! Wizard ascends and grabs the title.
WINNER: Wizard 1o1

Backstage we find Luke Sharpe with Chloe, who is in a neckbrace. Luke seems to be getting fired up for a match.
Chloe: Luke, don't go out there, OK?
Luke: I have to babe, he laid a hand on my sugar-doll, and no one does that.
Chloe: I'm fine. I'll be able to take this brace off soon. Just don't do anything stupid.
Luke: Look, baby, I won't do anything stupid. What I'm about to do is the smartest thing I've ever done. I'm going to put Jelly Adams out of the industry forever.
Chloe: But....
Luke: No buts babe, I'll be fine.
(He leaves, and Chloe looks distraught)
Our cameras find Gay Pride backstage getting ready. Aaron is giving Trent a backrub.
Trent: Ooh! Lower! Yeah, right there!
Aaron: You're so tense. Are you sure you're not nervous?
Trent: Don't I have reason to be? I'm about to get tangled up with four big, sweaty men.
Aaron: You're right. Now I'm feeling a little nervous....
Trent: You'll be fine. Let's go out there and give our sailors what they want to see.
Aaron: What's that?
Trent: A lot of Gay Pride!
Gay Pride vs. The Irish Connection vs. Vella/Simmons for the Tag Titles (One Fall)
The three teams are already in the ring, and the action starts with Aaron and Tommy O'Reilly in the ring. They both look tired after their roles in the Battle Royale, but Tommy gets the early ascendency. He hits an Irish whip (fitting, isn't it?), and an atomic drop. Aaron reels, and Tommy O'Reilly hits a reverse neck-breaker remeniscent of the diamond cutter. He tags out to Michael Vella, who seems eager to get his hands on Aaron. He picks him up and hits a shoulder-breaker. Goes for a cover, but Aaron kicks out easily.
Vella drags Aaron to the corner and tags in Steve, who looks keen for revenge after last week. He hits another shoulder-breaker on Aaron, and then goes for a cover. Trent is forced to make a save, and Vella struggles to get into the ring. While the ref tries to keep him out, Maleky and Tommy of the Irish Connection get into the ring and hit a double bulldog on Trent. Steve hits a clothesline on Maleky, and then tosses Tommy out of the ring. He turns right into a shuffle kick from Aaron, who scrambles over to tag in Aaron. Crowd goes up as Aaron lays a few punches into Steve. Whip, but Steve powers out of it and hits a stinging clothesline on Aaron. He drags him to the corner and tags in Michael Vella.
Vella seems content to punch away at Aaron, who is definately out of his class here. Vella hauls Aaron into a corner, where he tags in Tommy O'Reilly and exits. O'Reilly immediately goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Aaron tumbles into the centre of the ring, and Tommy makes a quick tag to Maleky. Maleky races over for a cover, but this time Steve breaks the pin. Tommy has gone up top and hits cross-body drop on Steve, who catches him and throws him over his shoulders and out of the ring. Trent rushes in and tackles Steve to the ground, whilst Vella clambers into the ring and begins to lay the boot into Aaron. Meanwhile Maleky has scrambled clear of the chaos. The ref tries to maintain order, but is shoved clear by someone. He's out cold.
Steve tosses Trent and Maleky out of the ring, and he sets Aaron up for a pile-driver. Vella prepares to aid in the spike, but Trent rushes in and collects Steve across the back of the head with the title! He's out, and the ref wasn't able to see it. Aaron and Trent whip Vella and hit their Double Flapjack, crushing Vella's throat against the ropes. He rolls out of the ring.
The ref regains consciousness as Maleky enters the ring and hits a schoolboy on Aaron. Trent makes the save, but Maleky punches him a few times before tagging in Tommy. Tommy rushes at Aaron, hitting a hurricanrana pin. 1-2-....he kicks out of his own accord, saving Trent another trip into the centre of the ring. Aaron needs to tag out, but Trent has him in a head-lock. Aaron's dropped to one knee, he's not well. The ref is preparing to signal for the bell, but he puts a few elbows into Tommy and fights his way out. He drops O'Reilly with a jaw-breaker, and the two lay prone on the canvas. The ref begins the 10 count, but Aaron stumbles up and tags in Trent.
Trent is fired up, and he begins to beat down O'Reilly, who rushes over to make a tag to Simmons. Simmons gets into the ring and flexes his muscles, but Trent won't have a part of it, he tags in Maleky. A terrified Maleky creeps into the ring, and is met with a dominator variant for his troubles! Simmons covers and gets 2, but O'Reilly makes the save. Simmons knocks him out with a big head-butt, and then tags in Vella. Vella picks up where his partner left off, hitting a big powerslam on Maleky for a pinfall attempt. Maleky somehow gets an arm up. Vella whips him, but Maleky reverses it and hits a weak dropkick. He struggles to a corner and tags in Aaron. Aaron goes up top and hits a drop-kick on Vella. He hits a few more from the ground, but Vella doesn't seem to be phased. He kicks Aaron in the midriff and sets him up for his jacknife powerbomb finisher. He lifts Aaron, who reverses it into a hurricanrana pin! Steve rushes in to make a save, but Trent cuts him off with the titles! 1-2-3! Aaron and Trent win against the odds.
WINNERS: Gay Pride by pinfall
Gay Pride make a quick exit, as Vella and Simmons beat up The Irish Connection.

Tonight on Rove: Another Vacuous Hollywood Celebrity and a Nameless Local
'Ausche zu Ausche' hits and Marshal Boyd makes his way to the ring for his clash with Big Schmo.
Marshal: I did some research on the weekend, and do you know what schmo means? (Crowd: NO) It's Jewish for an idiot or fool. How fitting.
Weeeellll, well it's the Big Schmo
Schmo races down the ramp for the match.
Big Schmo vs. Marshal Boyd (One Fall)
Boyd ducks a clumsy Schmo clothesline attempt and hits a few quick punches on Schmo. He backs up hard against the ropes and hits a catapult elbow across Schmo's nose. Schmo gets to his feet and is met with a slap across the chest, Marshal goes for another one, but Schmo grabs his wrist and administers a sharp headbutt. Boyd drops immediately, and Schmo lays a few sharp kicks into his ribs. Cover gets two.
Boyd kicks out of the above cover, and seeks to regroup with a few punches to Schmo's jaw. Schmo again counters with a headbutt, and then whips Marshal before striking with a big boot. Schmo goes for another cover, but Marshal is easily able to kick free. Schmo grabs him by the hair and takes him to the centre of the ring, he kicks him in the stomach and looks to hit a suplex. Boyd counters, sliding down behind Schmo and tying him up in a sleeper hold. Schmo tries to free himself, but he's too far from the ropes. He backs up hard, smashing Boyd against the turnbuckle, but he's tenacious and won't relinquish the hold. Schmo looks desperate, and leans heavily forward, catapulting Boyd over his shoulders.
While Schmo gasps for air, Boyd quickly recovers. He see Schmo slump down in the corner, and hits a baseball slide to the big man's crotch! The ref didn't see it, and Marshal drags Schmo to his feet. He signals for the Samurai Driver, just as DJMaC slides into the ring with the Oceania Title. He hits Marshal across the back, and the ref signals for the bell. DJMaC doesn't care, and he and Schmo beat down Marshal Boyd. Afterwards DJMaC hauls Boyd to his feet and hits a powerbomb!
WINNER: Marshal Boyd by DQ
Backstage we find Charisma Chris Maunder watching highlights from the tag title match. Natalie Gruzlewski enters.
Natalie: (Shyly) Er... Mr. Maunder?
Maunder: (Pauses the video) What can I do for you?
Natalie: I just wanted to say that I thought it was horrible how MrCharisma and Wizard 1o1 teamed you tonight.
Maunder: Oh, that? Doesn't matter, I don't want the title anyway, it'd clash with my outfit- you know?
Natalie: (Confused) I guess...
Maunder: Anything else?
Natalie: Yeah. Why are you watching this match?
Maunder: I'm a big fan of Gay Pride. They're a classy team.
Natalie: I came to ask....
Maunder: (Engrossed) That's right Trent, make him pay.
Natalie: I just thought....
Maunder: (Still engrossed) Steve Simmons sure has a good physique. I'd kill for a body like that.
Natalie: Nevermind
(She leaves)
Chris: (Looks up) What was that? Oh, she's gone. (Goes back to watching) I mean, look at those pecs!

Luke: You're a coward. Last week you went a step to far. You can beat me down. You can trash my name. But no one touches my girl. And no one, ever, hurts her. That's why I decided to get revenge. Luke: OK mate, come down here and get her, and she'll be fine.
Jelly makes his way to the ring and approaches the figure. He lifts the bag off 'her' head, and we see that it is boxer, Kostya Tzu! He lays Adams out with a few punches!
Luke: You idiot Jelly. Always take gold over the girl.
Adams flees the ring, with Luke and Kostya back in the ring laughing at their success.

Chris' Card Review
29/6/03
Wollongong, NSW
Reporter: David Harris- www.aswfans.com.au
After the official welcome, we're treated to a highlight package of last week's show. They picked the good parts, but I would've said 'Down With the Sickness' would have been a better choice of music for it.
After the pyros go off, Chris Walker and Steve Simmons come out with a contract. Walker says he'll offer it off to whoever wins a first up match. Looks like we'll be seeing two new faces.
First guy out is doing a kind of Shawn Michaels/Godfather thing, and he looks pretty buff. The second guy is like an A-Train clone. The crowd isn't sure who to cheer, but I'm leaning towards the guy with the girls. They were right in front of me and 'damn'.
Match One: Brandell vs. Josh Hussey
This was a surprisingly good first up match. Brandell had the upper hand for ages, and he was getting some mad pops. Hussey got everyone on Brandell's side when he used a chair, so I guess he's supposed to be the heel. The finish was good, and the crowd appreciated seeing Brandell get the win.
WINNER: Brandell with a bearhug
After the match, Chris Walker gets Steve to beat both men down. He then tears up the contract. Nice twist, and the crowd went ape when they beat up Hussey. Looks like no one liked him much.
This next segment was hilarious. Seriously, the best of the night. DJMaC comes out and badmouths the crowd, got mad boos. Then he drags a guy from the audience (a plant no doubt) to defend his title against. He's all nice and then kicks the match off by punching the guy.
Match Two JMaC vs. Crowd Member (Grant something)
Obviously this was a squash. The fan didn't get in any offense, and DJMaC basically beat him up and then got a cover.
Winner: DJMaC
After the match Marshal Boyd ran out and the two went toe to toe, this looks like it's developing into a heated feud. Afterwards Marshal knocked DJMaC down, and got the fan to hit DJMaC with the belt. Hilarious!
After the break DJMaC rushes into Walker's office and demands a rematch with the fan. Chris is funny, giving DJMaC @#%$ without being obvious. Eventually he says DJ and Steve Simmons can take on Marshal and an opponent of his choosing next week! Should be good.
OK, next is a weird segment where two guys I've never seen are involved. The wrestler (Lance Rats I found out) is like a younger William Regal, and the manager (Kermit something) is motivating him. Must be English for real, coz he sounded legit.
Next is the main event for mine, the ten man battle royale ladder match. This should be on a PPV, and I expect to see it done again. There are a lot of new faces here. Some guy comes out to The Bongo Song, his name is JD. There's another young guy called Andrew Young, and another called Michael Sparrow. All small guys. Tommy O'Reilly gets a bit of a pop for his entry.
MrCharisma gets good heat when he comes out with a box of pizza (he threw it to the crowd). 'Charisma' Chris Maunder was met with indifference, whilst Gay Pride got mad pops. Everyone loves these guys. Wizard 1o1 was last out, and he got the biggest pop. He's the clear favourite, and it'd be weird not to see him win. Oh, that Lance Rats guy is in it as well.
Match 3: Ten Man Battle Royale Ladder Match
Things start off standard, with an all in brawl. That Andrew guy lasted, like, ten seconds before he got thrown. Think MrCharisma did it. Gay Pride hit their finisher, that flapjack variant, on Tommy O'Reilly to eliminate him. He got good air. Disappointing to see him go so early. Didn't even see him in action. Maybe they're saving him for his tag match.
MrCharisma and Maunder get into it- so I guess they'll be feuding later. Lance Rats goes up the ladder, and Wizard knocks it over! He falls right out of the ring, that's a mad bump. He looks dazed, but leaves after a while. He's insane! Sparrow got eliminated at the same time, but no one really noticed, they were all cheering Lance Rats' fall.
JD and MrCharisma try and team Maunder out, but Aaron does the classic push and they both go over. Charisma holds on, but JD's out. They're clearly trying to get the crap out of the ring ASAP.
Aaron and Trent are dominating, they almost get rid of Maunder with another flapjack. I don't think he was supposed to hold on, coz they all looked shocked. Wizard then got control, he knocked Aaron and Trent out with the ladder. Very cool, but it got a mixed reaction, everyone loves those two.
The remaining three all face off, and then Wizard snaps and it's on! They exchange blows for a while, and then Charisma and Maunder team Wizard. WTF!? Doesn't matter, coz he hits a springboard lionsault on the pair. He then splashes MrCharisma, who rolls out of the ring. We yelled @#%$ at him ('Nice car, poof!') as he walked around.
Wizard eliminates Maunder pretty easily, and begins celebrating. Don't tell me they're going to have Charisma win. The two brawl for a while, and then all hell breaks loose. MrCharisma looks stronger, and goes up the ladder, but Wizard follows. They fight, and Wizard hits a suplex off the top! That was huge! Charisma sold it awesomely, and Wizard climbs up for the title. That was amazing. Best match so far in the ASWF.
WINNER: Wizard 1o1
After the break we see Luke getting ready for a match, and Chloe trying to talk him out of it. They must be really dating, else she's a good actor. I didn't think Luke was wrestling tonight, but he looked ready.
Next Gay Pride get on screen. This was hilarious. Crowd loved it.
Match 4: Gay Pride vs. Steve/Vella vs. Irish Connection
This should be good, I wonder if Steve/Vella will continue to dominate Gay Pride?
This was a good match overall. Steve/Vella are being pushed like crazy, as they dominated both teams. Maleky and Tommy didn't get in the ring for ages, and when they did they didn't do a lot. Injured? Tommy was good though. Aaron and Trent got another cheap win, which the crowd loved. These guys are like the New Age Outlaws, they cheat and no one cares.
Match 5: Marshal Boyd vs. Big Schmo
This'll be good. Big guy vs. little guy. Schmo is in control for a while, and then Marshal gets some control. It was good though, Schmo is decent in the ring, and Marshal sells well. Match ended poorly, with DJMaC hitting Marshal with the title.
Winner: Marshal Boyd by DQ
Next is a segment with Natalie and Charisma Chris Maunder. It was @#%$ awesome. Maunder was acting gay, but not gay. It was really well done, and I wonder where it's going.
Last up, Luke was in the ring and he calls Jelly out, says he has his girlfriend. Wonder if she's as hot as Chloe? Anyway, Jelly comes out and pleads, and Luke says he'll let her go. Jelly comes down, and its Kostya Tzu! He kicks Jelly's ass, and then he and Luke parade around! That was cool, but I'd have appreciated a match.
After the cameras go off, Tsu has a mock boxing match with Sharpedo. Kicks his ass, and then they bring Steve out. They go at it for a while, and Steve hits a powerbomb. It was pretty cool. Last of all, Gay Pride came out and sang some ABBA song. Huge funny. They asked MrCharisma to sing some BeeGees, but he said no.
See you all next week!
