Well, Daniel Anderson has announced his side to take on Australia this week. With the Kangaroos ripe for the picking, it's a perfect opportunity for the Kiwis to steal a test. Incidentally, it's the 100th test between the two nations.

1: Motu Tony
2: Henry Fa’afili
3: Vinnie Anderson
4: Clinton Toopi
5: Francis Meli
6: Nigel Vagana
7: Thomas Leuluai
8: Nathan Cayless
9: Monty Betham
10: Jason Cayless
11: Tony Puletua
12: Joe Galuvao
13: Ruben Wiki ©

Interchange bench;

14: Awen Guttenbeil
15: Jerry Seuseu
16: Ali Lauiti’iti
17: Sione Faumuina

I think it's the strongest squad they could have put together given the players they took. Logan Swann would've added some starch to the forward pack, and the presence of Bradford players Robbie Paul and Lesley Vainakolo would definately have helped. Not to mention Stacey Jones.

What is it with Anderson and naming former Bulldogs' centres in pivot? Admittedly, Vagana is a better option than Talau was, but he's not much of a defender- especially paired with Leullai. The forward pack will scare Australia, with only Villasanti and Webcke really capable of putting on a hit in the Aussie pack. Simpson, Fitzgibbon, and Kearns are all a little soft when it comes to hitting it up with some sting. The bench is scary, and watch for Faumuina's impact off of the bench. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tony player five-eighth after a while, and Vagana in the fullback role.

What does everyone else think?

Chris

Vagana at fullback and Tony at 5/8 is the way to go. Not sure how Vagana will go a 5/8 though......defence may be a big problem for him in the centre of the park, or will he just go for intercepts the whole time <_<.

Looking forward to a competative international....
