Wollongong vs. Suva
From the beginning of the match Suva made their intentions clear, scoring two tries within the first 7 minutes. Wollongong unpressured by the score-line hit back with 4 tries in the first-half. A strong 20 minutes of defence to start the second half off until Barry Eaton crossed over. Wollongong crossed over for another to result in a 30-20 victory.

Central Coast vs. Fairfield
The battle of the Magro brothers continues to impress. With each looking to show their dominance, everyone knew only one would leave victor. From the word go Fairfield were on the attack through play maker Scott Magro who set up three tries in 10 minutes. At the half time break Fairfield lead 28-0 over the Falcons and it wasn't until the 70th minute that Central Coast put points on the board through Captain Robbie O'Davis, and then another in the 75th. A late surge by the Falcons was little too late when a CCF try was disallowed in the 79th and Fairfield defeated the Falcons 28- 12.

South Queensland vs. Townsville
A epic thriller that has winded up as the second longest game of Rubgy League in history. Both sides played with tough defence however the amount of aggression between the pair gave too many pentalies to the opposition. At half time it looked like South Queensland were going to win it, leading 14- 2 however Townsville charged to equal the score at full-time, 18 all. A futher 20 minutes and no change in the score line. In the 104th minute Jason Smith busted Townvilles line with a 70 meter dash to bring the South Queensland victory- 22 to 18. A stong second half

Carins vs. New England
A game that can only be described as a game of pong. Team domination when back and forth from New England to Cairns then back again. At half time New England was leading 12-6. New England came out of the dressing room pumped laying an assult of 3 tries over Cairns, with two being disallowed. On the 78th minute Cairn's Amos Roberts crossed the line but it was too late with New England snatching a 14-12 victory.
