Paul really needs to fix whatever it is that generates the post-match stats. There is no way a starting prop would only make 3 hit ups and 3 tackles. Hell, same goes for the hooker. And a winger rarely makes that many hit ups or tackles.

25 Tackles, 5 Hit-Ups, 0 Errors?
Has this world gone topsy-turvey?
brandell - September 13, 2003 05:02 AM (GMT)
Yet another stellar performance by Randell with 27 tackles and 8 hit ups as well as another try.
Is this the making's of a legend?
I think so.

Yeah thats true, but it does happen quite a bit (Vella  ).
the stats(in theory) would depend on how teams play if they are putting the ball through the hands at every chance then the wingers and centres would come in for a fair bit of work.
I disagree with the hitups thou, after a kick the first two or three tackles are just about always taken by wingers(or the fullback).

Hey nath are you using the finished game or the second demo?
Anyone heard anymore about it, and that other one someone was doing?
eastsrule - September 13, 2003 10:53 AM (GMT)
Paul will be sending me a new version of URLm soon.
I have been helping Scott (Priddo) with his new game. NRL Manager 2003. That comes out this week.
Cometshark - September 13, 2003 12:21 PM (GMT)

What's this? An actual NRL management/coaching game, as opposed to an action-type game?! Tell me more!
Being a soccer fan (and English!) I am a Championship Manager fanatic, and have always been amazed that there isn't the same sort of thing for rugby league...which is why I joined the ASRL!
Cheers,
Mark

Priddo's game is a similar style to that of championship manager, it won't be anywhere to the level of that but its a huge stup up and hopefully something good will come of it.
Champ 4 is the best of the cm series thus far, if only my computer was a little faster  .

Not a fan of Champ 4 at all - I bought it but am back playing Champ 2000/01. I have a brand new PC (P4 2.4GHZ etc) and Champo 4 is still too slow on it.
Keep us informed on Priddo's game - most people I know in England who play Champo are also massive rugby league fans.
Cheers,
Mark
