The return of inspirational coach Theo Kamis and the gamble of playing Scott Magro in dummy half has very nearly landed the Wagga Badgers their first victory of the year, against the Crusade no less. Melbourne and Adelaide have played out a thriller in the southern states this evening, the Executioners edging out an injury struck Adelaide outfit 18-16 despite the Attitude playing arguably the better football. GO OILERS!!!!!!
Congrats to Benji Marshal for making his season debut this week. But, he was overshadowed by the brilliance of Craig Gower. Im sure Benji will play a lot more first grade in seasons to come ;) .
In all fairness, we only beat a crappy team today. A real test will be against the Vikings, with their all-star backrow, the brilliance of Gasnier and the emergance of Tim Smith. Rumors are rife that Wellington backrower Ryan Hoffman could join the Oilers and be slotted straight into the starting lineup against Parra.
DJMaC, your streak has been made up by beating weak teams. Heck, our Balmain Storm boys gave you a good run.
But, you'll need to pull your socks up in order to beat teams like the Oilers.

The crappy team you beat today is still higher on the table than you Oiler. :P . Ok that was me using my bragging rights for the season. Ill be quiet now and watch Hornsby slide back to the bottom of the table.
