Brisbane Bulls coach Josh Hussey has said today that he is very happy with the win over the Wollongong Destructors on the weekend. The Bulls were on the better side of the penalty count after come ill disciplined play from the Destructors and In-Form centre Josh Hannay Kicked the Bulls to victory. A Johnathan Thurston field goal sealed the win for the injury ravaged Bulls. Coach Hussey had this to say about the game.
"Well I am very pleased! The boys are showing alot of ticker out there toughing out the win. We have some injuries to key players in key positions and it has been a bit disruptive, but the blokes we have put there have really done the job, and I am just so happy with what we are doing on the park. We have currently won 2 from 4 and only lost just to 2 very classy teams. Personally I think it is a great effort considering the amount of injuries we have had since the start of the season. We have Darwin this week who have been playing some great football, so it will be another test and I am sure the boys will turn up for it and put in a big effort. The senior blokes in the team are really showing the way for the less experienced blokes, and the less experienced blokes have really stood up. This week we have a couple of niggling injuries and those blokes will be assesed during the week and given every chance to play on the weekend. Also Paul Bowman looks like he might make a return this week from a long injury lay off but we'll wait and see on him, we don't want to risk him bringing him back early. But whatever the team makeup I am sure the boys will stand up and be counted in a big game at home against the Cyclones."
It should be an interesting game, can the Bulls stand up and be counted against an in form Cyclones outfit? The Bulls management has called for all Brisbane Bulls fans to make there way out to the ground in numbers this weekend and support the mighty Bulls as they try to blow out Darwin's Cyclone.
