One of the biggest movers in the off season the Cyclone faithful are looking for more then being in the finals race this season even with the side tipped to do no better then last.
With adding Internationals Tana Ugama and Steve Menzies to a bunch of young future stars the streets of Darwin are a buzz even after a couple of close loses in the pre-season.
Last season Darwin had just about the worse forward pack in the comp but have added to this to be one of the best in the ASRL lead by captain George Gregan and Steve Menzies. Also added were 2nd division 2nd rower of the year in Andre Bowen, gun rookie prop Keiran Wyar as well as the attacking flair of Paul Cooke at lock.
The back line as seem some major changes with only Marius Joubert returnig from last season but being joined by his old team mate the young Eduardo Carera who is joined by Michael Mongahan in the halfs while outside sees Tana Ugama, Scott Donald and Brett Stewart added with the much improved Drew Mitchell getting 1st shot at a wing spot.
With a 1st up game vs one of the top sides last season Darwin are not only hopful of a good start like last season but a better finich.
