Title: Morris expected to play in first round of BFC

After suffering a bout of injuries in Melbourne's "trial" against Adelaide Attitude, Melbourne five eight John Morris is expected to return in the Executioners match against the Wollongong Destructors. Morris suffered a torn testicle sack in a match which was a torrid encounter.

Since transferring to the Executioners via Lake Heights, Morris has become an influential member of the first team. The executioners halves pairing of Morris and Englishman Richard Horne will be vital if the club is to enjoy success this season. The pairing will enjoy the luxury of feeding to a very talented forward pack, including props joel clinton, jason cayless, anthony tupou and jason king, who will look to get a role on for the Melbourne team.

The backline will also look to build some combinations, with Brian O'driscoll and Brian Carney hinted to be one of the most powerfull centre-wing combinations in the competition.

With the BFC fast approaching, players and trainers alike are working hard to turn around what was a poor season last year. It is evident within the camp that this is going to be a much better season, for the Melbourne Executioners.

I don't think I've ever heard it called a 'testicle sack', but you never know with crazy Queenslanders.

$8000 to Melbourne

John made the right move leaving Darwin where he was off the bench when his ball bag held together well enough to play.

He did miss a fair few games but Darwin management did not pay for physio as he was not needed at the time.

Surley Melbourne knew this before pinning their hopes on him for the new season?

Our ball bag specialists examined john before he got here, and found that he was right to play. I bit of forewarning... would have been appreciated from the Darwin team. This will not affect our plans with John, and we believe this is just a temporary thing.
