With Wagga playing Fairfield in the Division Two Grand Final, the make up of the ASRL for next season has been decided.

More importantly, however, is the opening of contract bidding at 10pm tonight. As of 10pm tonight all clubs will be able to bid on players for the 2005 season. Remeber, any players you win are yours for the season unless you can trade them off. Salaries will remain static until players are named off contract, so if you bid $610,000 for Paul King, he'll be worth that regardless of where he goes. Also, you CANNOT bid on players for your RSC club. Rising Star Conference sides will be filled in a second round of bidding AFTER the initial round. Remember, you need a squad of twenty five players, no more and no less. The salary cap for Premier League is 7.5 million and 5.5 million for Division Two.

Bidding will close next Tuesday at exactly 10pm AEST. Also, remember that no new bidders may enter a bids on a player after 9pm Tuesday night. That is, if you haven't bid on the player before 9pm, then you can't throw in a last minute bid at 9.59pm.

Hmm... late change, guys. Contract bidding will now close on THURSDAY (the night after Origin). With MrC and I sharing a house (and an internet connection) I just realised that I can't be on for Tuesday night.

So, the times remain, but the day changes to Thursday

I don't know how, but I'd left the Campbelltown Invasion (formerly East Coast Tigers) off of the Division Two list. They're included in place of the Ballina Terror.
