Unfortunately, the UAF has recently been advised that with a coach coming in to it's helm the South melbourne devils are no longer guaranteed members of the UAF. This causes some big complications for the UAF Cup as if soth melbourne do not compete the format shall fail. As no word has been recieved form the new management it shall be assumed that they will not be renewing their contract. "With the cup pending it is too big a risk for the UAF to hope that mebers will dcide to stay. As a result the North Sydney Newbloods will be transferring across from SEX to take the Devils spot," UAF Chairman David McElroy was quoted this morning. They will slot into the Devils pool spot and will contribute to the TV Games and entry fees as per usual. North Sydney would contribute a whopping $30,000 from TV Games.

Another miscalculation has occured in that somehow Cairns have been left out of the Cup format.
This causes a really, big complication. Look to 'New Cup Format' in the newar future for the new cup format.

Due to these setbacks the UAF Cup will be delayed for one round and will instead commence in Round 15.

OK... We've had a few things from th Cairns guy saying he was in the UAF... like he pledged some cash and has posted at least once saying he was in... I'll go do the first round as was originally planned straight away. North Sydney are in and Sth melbourne are out.
