Christchurch continue to climb the RSC ladder after a tight knit win over Rabual. It was the experience of former top grade stars like Braam van Straaten and John Rova who controlled the game but some injuries to Rabual stopped any fight back in the 14-10 win for the Comets.

It was a Randell Vs. Randell match in the Hunter region when Chuck came up against Chad. While it was a battle of halves, Gisborne came out with the final 10-6 victory. It was all Heat in the first half while Hunter commanded the second half, but Hunter couldn't do enough to steal the points.
