While nothing is going right at Brisbane, Wests have given the club something to smile about with a 32 to 6 whooping of Birchgrove. Jason Kent had a blinder of a game and Birchgroves only points came in the 76th min.

The Entrance like father club keep the points rolling, this time over Rabual in 36 to 10 victory. Craig Simmons debut in sensational fashion while Samer El Masri brought in 12 points with a golden boot.

The sin-binning of Wollongong centre: Ben Harris has allowed Kandy to scrap home a 22-18 victory over Port Kembla. Voodoo winger Luke Covell brought home 14 points which still couldn't lift the side.

It was another romping scoreline in Queensland when Pine River put a 32-10 beating over Christchurch. Nothing seemed to go right for Christchurch who can only remember their glory days in the Premier League.

A case of like father like son was evident as storm went down over the excited North West side. It was a tight knit game until Daniel Ferris waved some magic in the final 5 minutes, setting up two tries.

Fans at the Wizards Vs. Eagles match hung on to the edges of their seats as the Wizards scrapped home the vicory. The game was leveled at 14 all in the 75th minutes and a crutial penality kicked by Neil Sweeney broke the deadlock in the 77th, winning 16-14.

There was no stopping the Heat this week with a convincing 28 to 6 win over Souths. Jarred Lawrence had a night to remember, snaring a double and earning Man of the Match while Heat goal kicker will be practising a little harder.

Kensington were able to make small work of Cairns with a 18-4 win. Cairns had plenty of oppotunities but it was the solid defence of the Highrollers which held them to a single try.

It was more like a round of Surivor then a match of league when Hunter downed Hawthorn 20 to 10. The match was stopped over 5 times for injured players including the Bataums halfback in the first minute of play.
