Central Coast and Sydney have earned themselves a week's rest, whilst Port Moresby and Townsville exit the race for a possible spot in Premier League next season.

Central Coast found themselves in dangerous territory when they were level at 10 all with only eight minutes to go, but a soft Tabuli try followed by a pair of penalties and a field goal have sunk the PNG side- losing 21-10.
Central Coast: Brian Tabuli, Solomon Haumona, and Braam van Straaten. El Masri 4/5. El Masri 1 fg.
Port Moresby: Hefin O'Hare. Burke 3/3
PoM Points: Brian Tabuli 3, Hazem El Masri 2, and and Hefin O'Hare.

A dominant first half, including three tries, has seen Wollongong lead Coffs Harbour 14-0 at the halftime break. The Destructors clocked off a little in the second half, but did enough to ensure a valuable win, downing Coffs 20-12.
Coffs Harbour: Stirling Mortlock and Ryan Sheridan. Mortlock 2/2
Wollongong: Jamie Ainscough, Simon Woolford, Michael Withers, and David Westley. Opan 1/3. McLean 1/1
PoM Points: Jamie Ainscough 3, David Westley 2, and Brad Commins 1.

New England fans must have thought they were caught in a time warp today, as the Ferrets pulled out the form that saw them into the 2001/2002 semi final to thrash Christchurch 30-18. The scoreline flattered the home side, who were abysmal in a game dominated by New England's solid defence.
Christchurch: Stuart Spruce, Jason Ferris, and Tom O'Reilly. Spencer 3/4
New England: Brian Leauma, Darrell Trindall, Lee Harland, Andrew Hart, and David Peachy. Ferris 5/7
PoM Points: Andrew Hart 3, Stuart Spruce 2, and Martin Offiah 1.

Sydney, after some indifferent recent form, have saved their best for the finals- annihilating the Townsville Dolphins 28-0 to send them crashing unceremoniously out've the 2002/2003 finals series. The Oilers were at their blazing best, and now have a week off to recover injuries.
Sydney: Jason Robinson 2, Jason Ryles, Ali Lautiti, and Adam Hughes. Mehrtens 4/6
Townsville: None.
PoM Points: Jason Robinson 3, Adam Hughes 2, and Ali Lautiti 1.
