Title: Re-Evaluation of the RSC
chriswalkerbush - April 16, 2004 03:54 PM (GMT)
Just thought I'd inform everyone that the RSC clubs that are competing this year will not necessarily be there next season.
I'll be re-evaluating each side's right to be there at the end of the season. At present the list looks like this.
DEFINATE
The Entrance Tigers
The Flintlocks
Birchgrove Nightwings
Northern Territory Lions
Sunshine Coast Wizards
Rotarua Kittens
Port Kembla Voodoo
Wests Panthers
Balmain Storm
Rabaul Rangers
Western Suburbs Raiders
MAYBE
Pine Rivers Turtles
Cairns White Pointers
Hunter Bantams
Port Hedlands Jets
Broome Warriors
North West Kookaburras
Werris Creek Magpies
GOOOONE
Bougainville Bears
Hornsby Wasps
Sides within the 'maybe' category will be assessed on the RSC performance, and coach involvement. We're also working towards giving PL sides feeders over Division Two sides where possible.
Feel free to comment or ask questions about the re-assessment. If you're after a feeder, I'd post here too.

Just that your commitment level has dropped a little this season. Less articles, missing side submission etc.
Pick it up a little and you'll be fine.

We at Adelaide feel that we would like a feeder club.

ahh ok no worries, i do articles just noone notices them lol. but yeah im guilty of not submitting my side, sometimes i forget, sometimes i didnt care enuff but a lot of the time it was coz my internet wasnt working.

Fair enough. You'll probably still have a feeder side as long as you don't relegate.

Sheesh, we (Hunter Bantams) have been awful all season, but have won our last three ... only to be threatened with expulsion?!

All I'm going to say is that The Entrance is performing well above par.
Anyone thinking about getting a feeder side, try your arse off to get one. They add a new level of fun and entertainment to League because you can field 6/6's and 7/5's and as the seasons go on, you get to see some of your players mature into 7/7's or well possibly superstars.

Tough decisions have been made. The following sides from the 'probables' list will not be participating in the Rising Star Conference next season. When you're announcing players off contract- please include all members of your feeder club in the Band C section (except those you wish to promote to your top squad).
Rest in Peace
Port Hedlands Jets
Broome Warriors
North West Kookaburras
Werris Creek Magpies
An announcement will be made with regard to which sides will be filling the free four to eight spots closer to the season's end. If you've lost your side and wish to request I reconsider- feel free to respond here or email me.
Remember- the sides with feeder clubs are those who are active on the forum, regualrly send in their sides, and make an effort to improve the ASRL community in some way.
