For writing Newcastle off.

Hey man, thats just what I think, and I didnt put much thought into it. North QLD are a great side this year, so I just took a guess and put them ahead of the Knights. No doubt about the bottom 3 will finish on the same points only for and against deciding the positions on the ladder.

By the way Chris, I like your user pic.

I'm not sure about you Schmo and G8 Raid. Chris is right, why are you riding of Newcastle. Sure they got their arse handed to them by the Dogs but so did Brisbane last nite.

For you to tip the Warriors is a big bet. They just aren't the team that impressed last year.

2.Brisbane
3.Roosters

5.Newcastle
6.Canverra
7.Dragons

You did that on purpose.

As much as I like them, North Queensland won't make it. They're too far adrift.

well sort of but not because of you chris its coz i cant stand the knights and i just cant bring myself to put them in the 8 when now they are out of it. i reckon the teams in the 8 can beat the knights out! but yeah after the loss to the dragons its gonna be hard now for the cowboys

Here's my re-assessment.

1- Brisbane
2- Penrith
3- Sydney
4- Canterbury
5- Canberra
6- Newcastle
7- New Zealand
8- Melbourne

ROUND ONE
Brisbane will cream Melbourne, unfortunately. Penrith will end New Zealand's finals aspirations. Sydney will edge out Newcastle, and Canterbury will show up Canberra's away weakness.
OUT: Melbourne and New Zealand.

ROUND TWO
Brisbane and Penrith get the bye.
Newcastle upset Canterbury, showing that with some passion (and a full strength side) they can repeat their 12-6 win earlier in the year. Sydney will end Canberra's dream run.

ROUND THREE
Brisbane end Newcastle's hopes of a Grand Final berth, and make their sixth. Sydney down Penrith in style, setting up a repeat of 'The Most Boring Grand Final Ever' (2000).

GRAND FINAL
Sydney win the battle of who could care less. The world doesn't care. Both clubs fined for cap infringments. Ricky Stuart is revealed to be none other than Phil Gould!

PJ_Marshal - July 26, 2003 06:23 AM (GMT)
1. Penrith
2. Brisbane
3. Sydney
4. Canberra
5. Canterbury
6. St George Illawarra
7. Newcastle
8. Parramatta

im crazy to think parra will make the finals!

Jelly - July 26, 2003 09:04 AM (GMT)
u sure r.

chriswalkerbush - August 6, 2003 05:26 AM (GMT)
OK, here I go again. ;)

1: Sydney Roosters
2: Canterbury Bulldogs
3: Canberra Raiders
4: Melbourne Storm
5: Penrith Panthers
6: Brisbane Broncos (Unless Lockyer gets back soon)
7: St George/Illawarra Dragons
8: Newcastle Knights

:( We'll get knocked out first round. :o

Cometshark - August 6, 2003 11:42 AM (GMT)
Ok here goes

1. Sydney
2. Dogs
3. Penrith
4. Brisbane
5. Canberra
6. Newcastle
7. New Zealand
8. Melbourne

With Close game between Melbourne v Sydney with Roosters scraping through,
Dogs destroy New Zealand, Penrith ET over Newcastle and Canberra to upset Brisbane without Lockyer (to scrape past with him)

With the sharkies to win the Minor Premiership and Grand final next year.......
Now Im off to sing
All I have to do is dream.... Dream Dream Dream. :poke:

chriswalkerbush - August 7, 2003 04:30 AM (GMT)
lol.

I think Newcastle, if they ride in on good form, would topple the Panthers. They've gotta beat them eventually!

Chris
