Although nothing has been finalised, there are rumours flying around that Brad Fittler may be making a return to Premier League in Central Phoenix colours.
The current NSW and Australian five-eighth has had a well documented falling out with Hawkesbury coach, Brian Randell, and it is believed Fittler has asked for permission to negotiate a trade with the Phoenix.
Should the trade go through, it is rumoured that up to three Central stars will be moving to Hawkesbury. Out of favour utility Anthony Himmler, English front-rower Barrie McDermott, and former Gold Coast and Manly five eighth Karle Hammond would move to accomodate Fittler's hefty price tag.
As stated earlier, this is a rumour, but reliable sources indicate that Randell and Tony Bush have been talking increasingly lately over a potential agreement.
More as it comes.
