Title: PNG team

Jelly - July 6, 2003 11:12 AM (GMT)
Well its this time again, last year we had our strongest team to date but this year we are much better with virtually the same squad but players have developed and become more experienced and that should give us some hope we played great last time but this time i think we can do it and we will prove that PNG are a true Rugby League Nation.

.John Rovoa- Has really developed into a good attacking fullback and will pressure the kiwis defence.

.John Wilshere- Wilshere is extremely talented has started to turn around and become a star, but hasnt produced at international level will expect a big game to impress for the World Cup.

.Nick Bradley-Qalilawa- Has great hands and a good passing game proabably helps the halves so does his centre partner Hart, but these two are great attackers but Bradley-Qalilawa strength is defence

.Melvin Hart- A great talent is a star of the future but trys to do everything himself needs to become a team player and i think he has.

.Marcus Bai- The Port Moresby winger is a true champion always gives 100 percent and will find the line.

.Stanley Tepend- Has had a great season so far finding the line easy. Pairing with one of the youngest halves should put alot of pressure onto him this should be a real test.

.Nime Kapo With Lam being injuried the Coffs Harbour player has played in almost every position for PNG but finally gets his chance at his actual position will surely add spark.

.David Raelke- Hasnt had much game time this year but he always performs at international level.

.Patrick Varune- A very tough hooker who dominates the defensive end and adds quick runs out of dummy half.

.John Waka- One of the few PNG forwards who can find the line. Waka needs a big game to help with his club form.

.Raymond Karl- Has had his best season to date this year and has earnt him a starting spot, plays under Adams and knows what is expected.

.Michael Marum- Another player who has had his best season to date and will sometimes move into the hooking role to give Varune a rest.

.Graham Luana- The Cougar star has tasted success and likes it he is one of the best young locks around and has alot of talent.

BENCH:
.Eddie Aila- Only playing his second game but this young centre is very strong in attack

.David Westley- Big Westley adds size, strenght and experience will be a strong impact player if things go wrong for PNG

.Tarzan Malaguna- Yep Tarzan has finally come out and will explode onto the international scene

.Stanley Gene- Gene is strong, speeder and can play any where will also be a impact player if things go wrong for PNG
