im thinking of playing guitar again i was gonna get a eddie van halen kramer simple guitar or esp thingy strat with a floyd rose what do you like

it all depends on what feels right to you. I personally like bigger guitars like les pauls, flying v's and explorers. Everyone has their own preference, you know.

I suggest you go to a music shop sit down, and ask to try a few guitars out.

Buy one you like, not just because if it looks good or etc..

I did this, and got a awesome sounding guitar ;)
But i knew it would be a awesome sounding guitar as Tracii Guns uses a similar model \m/

i havent played in a really long time i hate sitting down i think im going with a small marshall amp cant beat the sound i used to have crate which was kind of so/so

A flying V is a hell to play with if you're sitting. Dont buy a V.

I personally like Ibanez JEM, with unfinished neck. Steve vais signature. Its maybe the best guitar I have tried ever, and i have a Gibson les paul custom, standard, flying V, many strats etc. But i think the JEM is be easiest and best guitar i have.

no-like pitty said-they are a hell to play when youre sittin...explorers are cool and les pauls are cool,so buy either a paula or a explorer guitar...i dont like strats,because they are so fuckin bad metal guitars,because when you are playing fast and always play with palm mute you touch the volume knob the whole time... :laugh: and tune down yourself the whole time

Go to a store and test guitars, all of em :lol: Look for a sound you like, or you can sort them up front a bit if you look at a sound you like from bands and try out the same guitars.

For Rock/metal a lespaul is nice, ibanez is good, but you can play almost anything anywhere if you use the right amp and pickups.

I just love Explorers...but my fav. at the moment is the ESP James Hetfield Truckster. Im gonna buy an Epiphone Gothic 1958 Explorer soon hopefully.

Reminds me alot of Alexi Laiho (CoB) i would get his model but its faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar out of my price range.

yeah the new laiho guitar is so expensive that my head hurts when i think of how much it costs

My next will hopefully be a Gibson Les Paul Zakk Wylde camo signature.

talkin about a next guitar: i would like to grab either a ltd truckster or a les paul camo zakk or a ltd axxion (mustaine) or even a diamondplate ltd explorer :metal:

Get a good les paul guitar..les pauls are the best imo
