I play Ddrum, don't use any triggers at the moment but I have used them (Ddrum ones) and they seemed pretty cool

That page wasn't loading too great for me though, my internet's going crazy once again, so I only looked at them briefly

Pussy faggot drums I say - sorry but I'm a traditionalist - give me a tama or an export anyday :D

Although if these tyhings have volume control - they are useful for practicing at home if you have moaning neighbours. like I do. But sadly for them - my house is not rented so I don't give a fuck about them anyways.

I play at reasonable times - I wont argue with them on the doorstep - thats just scummy ;)

I told them to do the right thing and call the cops but they cant because sadly for them - their is no law against playing in your home at a reasonable hour here in the UK :metal2:

No laws here either, and I stick to playing at reasonable hours too.

I actually had one of my neighbours turn up at my door step when I was playing drums to thank me for 'livening up the street a little'. I live in a street full of retired people and ageing doctors so this old lady was grateful that there was still a young soul around making noise.

I'm pretty sure I can safely make up for the amount of noise the rest of the street doesn't make, between my stereo and drumkit.
No wonder the rest of the people in my street never talk back when I say 'Hello' in the mornings...

Back on topic: Although I would love a Tama kit, I had an export and I can quite safely say my Ddrum beats the shit out of it (in my opinion, anyway). Ddrum are only an up and coming brand but they are starting to become a bit more well known, as far as metal drummers go Shawn Drover has just signed with them and the dude from Trivium uses them too.

in NY the state law says that you can make noise till I believe 9pm or 9:30pm...
my neighbors have complained to my parents and they bitched at me for my guitar being loud... I said well the law says this and you arent above the law...
my old tenant actually complained about my guitar playing and my dad tried to make me stop playing, my mom bitched at him telling him he cant make me not play...

i dont care about noise. This drum is more than that - crank it to however loud you want - it sure was loud live when danny used it. I just think its cool because of the multiple features

Yeah. Danny Carey pusses around too much with drum things. He never seems to find drums that he likes. Neil Peart was the same way for the longest time. But then he found DW. But on point....electronic kits...they are good for fuckin around on and maybe writing at 2 or 3 in the morning if you have to. But me...i just play at reasonable times and when i get a chance to.....Give me Pearl.Zildjian,Remo,Ahead...or give me death!! Maybe yamaha and tama...well tama makes killer snare drums....but yeah....

About Ddrum: They are pretty awesome...their snare drums anyway. Their full kits i would really need time to play around and i can't do that on the job at guitar center. They are made by the same company that makes Dean guitars.......Travis Smith from trivium just got a signature kit with them...he also signed with ahead drumsticks!!.

I hate Ddrum's Acoustic Snare.

Their Electric is good though.

have to disagree with you there - Carey had always been a Simmons man - which eventually got outdated, so he made the switch to his own brand with that co-developer guy, and apart from enchancing more effects - he didnt make that many changes! As far as i know too, his acousticness has been set pretty much with sonor and paiste.
